Now there you go mr. Moody. Dear Holy Mood.... I´m sexier than choo.
You know, there is´nt any good filmers here that would respect some guy who doesnt film by himself. On these forums you come out as a rip/off. Only ones who would submit footage to you are lame underage groups.
Notice the word "underage", once again, there you go: Doesnt it feel unethical. Or do you like abusing young boys?
13 July 2005, 08:48 UTC#155
I'm 25 years old. I think I'm personally a little too old to be jumping off of roofs and landing into trees.
In terms of my productions, when I go out to shoot footage, I am ussually a one man crew. So by myself, that is as close you'll get to that.

I'll decide what kind of productions I feel are marketable. I don't know how you just start ranting about pedophiles. If you can't contribute anything to the dialogue of the thread or offer suggestions, respect those that choose to.
13 July 2005, 09:12 UTC#160
And without fuckaround:
Moody, you come here and ask for footage of people getting wrecked and hurt. How abusive is that?
First you offer nothing, then you offer pennies. How abusive is that?
Majority of groups are underage, who (according to law) dont know whats best for them. You even encourage kids to hurt themsleves, by offering little bit of fame and money. Imagine the lawsuits you get out of it.
Lamest thing is that you arent even willing to take risk e.g. jump in a goddamn bush. But you think somebody else should endanger one´s ass for you.
And everybody knows that your former productions have sucked. I would make a lot better dvd.

Hah, respect? Fuck I cant repect you or anybody else willing to work with you. Why do you think I should give some repsect? Any good reasons? before that, I´ll give my respect only for pachimself.
And I started ranting about Pedophiles because they abuse underage kids, just like you are trying to do now. Are you really so stupid you cant understand fucking metaphoras and shit? Or are you trying to act that you dont abuse little kids?
For the last time: Do you abuse us and other little kids? Are you a pedophile?

There you go, rewiev about your sig Image file not present in the recovered backup
Moody is a dude who once in a while try´s to "buy" footage for his production. It allways seems abusive and ripoff. It will never work. Also his other productions have sucked. Some lame BYW dvd´s Webby gave em bad rewievs.
13 July 2005, 09:49 UTC#166
Honestly Michael, if you were prepared to cut the initial production amount of the DVD's to initially pay for people to send you footage, then you'd do a lot better. For example, if you want to copy 5000 DVD's first off, copy 2500 after the DVD has made then with the difference in cash you can pay per minute of footage. You need around 60 minutes of footage, if that goes into to the 2 grand area, nothing is lost for you.
Now thing is, you wouldn't trust the same deal, if someone asked you for your footage that you'd shot from wrestling scenes to make this fantastic DVD in exchange for a plug for Holymood...I doubt you'd take the offer. Promises via mouth are easy, and they can just as easily be broken. So if you want to gain trust I reccomend you set aside a budget to pay for the footage initially.
13 July 2005, 09:52 UTC#167
I think I could take a part if I would get some cash right away. Im poor.

I liked the byw dvd...the editing was lame but the content was good, I didnt like the production and edit of the other two wrestling dvds
like one dvd was made up of matches filmed by fans from seats...so 1 view in the whole match...they was rare matches ect but then at the end it said 'directed by mike moody' the other thing he could of directed is what order he put the matches on the dvd.

Yeah, but the point was: badly produced. And thats what matters.
13 July 2005, 17:06 UTC#171
yeah. maybe each group should edit it then

Backyard Criminals was the first DVD I ever made. It had good content but could have been better. Masters of the Ring was a low budget wrestling DVD. The footage was very rare and I bought the footage for under $800 so it was a deal. Die hard wrestling fans or collectors appreciated the DVD a lot.
The Shooting Range was another early backstage shoot wrestling DVD I made that got excellent feedback from viewers. Lots of people were raving about the DVD when it was released.
I know I'm not the best editor in the world and that is why I've hired a new editor.

I have to budget for several reasons. For one I stopped working for my former employer and everybody knows that when you leave a job times can be tough. That is the main reasons why I am budgeting.
The other reason is that I'm working on a new BYW DVD, a behind the scenes of the porn industry documentary, a new pro wrestling documentary, and an mma documentary. I'm stretched thin and need to be wise with budgets.

I won't be paying per minute. You will get a % of the revenue. Elliot said that 30% would be fair for gross revenue, and I'm willing to take it to 30% but it isn't going any higher than that.
If you guys supply me your footage edited then that is definitely the best approach. This way you can control how your footage is represented. That works for me.
I can also supply some music for the editing but I don't feel that every group needs a music video.
Do these ideas work for you guys?
