Try that out. You add each person yourself, so you'd have to add everyone, but it works damn well. We used it to share raws and edits when we did our last mix up. You can build a whole HGF network pretty easily and then just pull from us as you need it or when we tell you to.

And it's simple to set up.

I think we might plan to film some new stuff for this.....hopefully

Yeah, I know none of us have really been on that much but we'd be willing to give pretty much anything we have as it will only go to waste otherwise. So Justin and I will get this underway.

Had quite a few people message me recently to show their support for the project which is very much appreciated and encouraging. The rest is up to you guys. Ive got about 5 days untill I can start work on this (im moving flats) So would be really nice to see some content on there as one of the first steps ill take is getting intro and transition graphics made. Quite simply the best clips in the first bunch Im sent will be the ones featured quickly in the intro video graphic used in every show (untill the graphic is next changed). So if you want your shit branded into the show itself and seen by possibly millions every ep regardless of if your actual clips are featured in it, get some clips to me as quickly as possible.

mate if people are gonna be uploading lengthy high quality footage then uploading through that webform is just gonna time out and not work. best way to do it is give people individual ftp accounts or even just upload to vip.

I said just use an upload site that does it all for you like that site, yousendit? or something like that.. but he wanted it on his own site... plus FTP accounts to each person is alot of effort esp if alot of people want to upload.. could make just one account shared by all but leaves risk of people fucking with others files...
hopefully shouldnt timeout but when a few people upload and test it we will find out

I really dont understand hosting shit. Thought this was the best way, as I would doubt peoples files are really going to be that huge. Aslong as they google 'How to compress a high quality video on the internet with ........ editing software' then they will be able to get me a high quality compressed vid that shouldnt take up too much memory.

Ill leave it for now and see how everyone works with it, and if theres further problems dow the line I will have to work something else out.

If you want this to happen then make it as high in your priority list as you can. Until I see commitment from users I cant waste anymore time or money on something that isnt 100% going to happen.

wouldnt contacting the groups about certain clips be alot easier? you've seen what HG has to offer so should have alot of clips inmind...
