Homegrown Tv.

Casual Heroes would be in, it would get us off our asses and back filming again, we could use some of our old footy but it would have to be taken off the internet, ty has no camera...

We've got a few clips that might be suitable, would you prefer edits or raw footage? Also what would happen with music etc?

Not a bad idea, but not suitable for this I dont think. I will make sure the episodes look good, and they will generally get better over time obviously.

I think if to begin with everyone sent over between 5-10 individual stunts (edited or unedited) and then if anyone wants to have anything else shown or has an idea as to something they want shown from their group they can contact me and we can sort it out. There really is alot of room for promotion, so if people want to go out and film an exclusive segment for a show, that would be awesome. Like some interviews with the group, cut with stunts, or some interviews cut in with some exclusive stunt footage that youve filmed especially. Try and get a homegrown tv shoutout etc.




I would prefer edited stunts. Just no really cheesy transitions/video effects.

When it comes to music, try to use unsigned bands. Try to get permission but im not too bothered if you havent got permission (presuming its an unsigned band) as its only the internet. Try to stick the title of the song and artist and track name in the bottom left hand corner as a watermark for abit to save it going in the end credits. If you need an example just take alook at most of D'man's vids.

I be intrested but id like to see acouple of released eps before I commit but if I like the way its presented I shall send you footage no doubt.

This actually sounds pretty cool

Dex needs to write up a set of questions the groups can answer in front of a cam so it can be edited doc style.

Would be good to see the format after a few episodes are released. You have enough HM stuff to get the ball rolling, right?

I would be up for sending you some footage man, most will prob be unedited or simply edited and if we had any music it would be our music.

Well in many ways pre-production has just started with this thread. But as soon as I start getting sent content and beleive I have the support of enough groups, I will start getting a website made and some graphics designed. I would like to get some eps starting to roll out mid sept. It could be sooner if everyone send me content quickly or it could be later if something prevents the episodes from being made.



Im happy for you to edit your own stuff dude, and using your own music is great! Youve got lots of great vids I could use. Ill take a look through your channels and note down some individual clips that would be great and email you the list. Did get your email the other day regarding the Z7. I will get back to you soon, just been rather busy lately.

Nice one dude. I'd be happy to show little 1 min skating montages if it has the homegrown feel, and has the odd stunt thrown in here and there. Just an idea.

if u have the time dex, u can take a look at our channel as well, so I can get a rough idea of some stuff u want. not that I want u do do my work for me but that way it helps me (and u) get a base of some clips u find suitable.

in addition I will send some other footy that is un-seen.

To a certain extent. It really depends on how you want your footage seen. Once you send me the footage it will go through 2 more generations of compression before the viewer sees it. Abit like youtube. The better master you give them, the better the video is after they compress it.



Music youve made? Send over anything you got, and if I can use it I will.

If you can export it as high quality as you can, and upload it to a site such as mailbigfile or yousend it, rapidshare etc and email me the link.

Preferably 16:9 and either avi, or a .mov if poss.

so what needs doing first before this project starts? because I feel the most that will come of this is all dex convincing groups to join, how many HGFDVDs have been planned down to the tee then nothing happens because well no one ever starts it.

Yeh well all that needs to happen is people send me footage. If enough groups bother taking the risk, well scrap that as there isnt really any risk involved, but if enough groups take the time to actually send me footage, then this project will happen.

So atm its just up to you guys. If you guys do your part, I will then push it forward.

dont you have enough muppets/HM footage already? and it isnt really the stunts that need sorting you have an endless archive here so that can wait, you need to set the behind the scenes shit up for it to work so might aswell go for that first so you get yourself motovated.

I have some footage, but obviously we lost alot new stuff, and somehow I dont think the show would be quite so good if it was just HM footy, but yes I will be using some of-course.

Dont worry yourself Marc. I know what I'm doing and the steps that need to be taken right now are collecting footage. I dont need any more motivation, I have enough as it is, what I need is people like you to be motivated enough to actually send me some footage, abit like Moody never sent you your tapes back.

thats fair enough if you will carry on once you have abit of footage from acouple of groups, but im not sending you anything untill I see the product im supporting, like I said on the other page, dont skip my posts like moody does.

Wasn't aware of skipping any of your posts? Been trying to reply to everyone. If I have it's unintentional.

But yeh I will carry on once I have footage. I have everything planned out, theres just no point in me moving forward unless I know people are committed and that the project will take off.

And yeh I thought alot of groups would wait to see an ep before handing over footage. Do understand the motivation behind it, but doesnt really help it get up and running, but thankfully it seems that theres quite a few people on here happy to send some regardless. ALthough I have only actually received footage from Ryan, and an email with a list of urls to vids from john. But these things take time.
