His editing isn't shown in depth on his website but I've seen a lot of good stuff from him offline, plus I'm friends with Jose so I can trust him with the production.

You'd be making good money off of the royalties. Up front payment would cost to much for this production due to the amount of groups involved and once one group is paid up front, everybody will want to be paid up front.

I dont think a whole dvd of bonewrs editing would be cool as so meny effects are used. his own stuffs cool but other ppls footy with his editing wouldnt fit to well I dont think.

I'm not really interested in sending the footage for the DVD to somebody that isn't local. I would want to watch over the production and make sure everything is going right and that the production is moving forward at a rate of time that I'm comfortable with.

Any groups anywhere in the world can be involved. UK groups can submit footage, just email me at [email address redacted]
Groups from Russia, Brazil, Germany, the UK, Holland and other countries are submitting footage so the DVD will have groups from all over the world involved.

Yeh I wouldnt trust our footage unless it had a proffesional editor.
After a filming session this friday, me and scott will spend a day burning footage onto dv tapes and well send them off, with contract.
Did U manage to watch all those vids I listed? Cos you said they didnt seem to work when you tried them on our site, but Ive checked them and they do.

You can export the edited footage onto a mini dv tape, straight from your computer into your camera with firewire.
Yes, you can edit your own part of the DVD, but don't use music. I have my own music to use in the DVD that I have the rights to use.

well post the links to the music so people can edit there parts to it

Dex - I'll hunt through your website again and watch the rest of the vids. Flash doesn't work on my computer because some anti-virus program I have blocks it and that may be why I couldn't find your other vids. From the videos I saw on your website though, you had some good stuff.

The site doesnt work with Firefox. And the menu and little scroll arrows arent that easy to see but all the vids work.
Also in this thread Ive asked a few questions, I'd be reall grateful if you could answer them.

I haven't really thought about how the gross revenue will be distributed yet. I'm assuming that it will be an even cut between the groups involved. If a group sends me 1 clip or like 5 minutes of footage, in my opinion they wouldn't deserve as much royalty payment as a group that has a 20 minute section, which would give the group with the bigger section a extra revenue from the 30%. That is my opinion but I feel you guys should have some say in this and let me know what you think.

I'll tell you who's distributing it and where. I'll tell you how many copies sold and whatever other info you want. Everything will be totally legit and I could also send you an email stating that I will pay you guys 30% of the gross revenue so that you can keep it on file.

I know I watched faceoff which was a lot of fun to watch and I think I downloaded another video but I don't recall which one. I've watched so many videos over the weekend up until now so I need to go back and watch the rest.
