Good game but Sweden deserved a second goal. It was indeed a very tight game.

True to the extent that if you want to/can score goals you also will like Canada has shown so many times, but still I would have hoped to see Sweden make it into an OT thriller

Just finished The Know-It-All by A.J. Jacobs. That same dude who lived a whole year following the literal rules of the Bible - in this one he reads the Encyclopedia Britannica cover to cover.

I've decided he's now my unequivocal role model. He's a geeky, pop culture-addicted journalist who studied Philosophy at college. And writes good books.

I got the 30-day trial, it was too much effort.

In other news, I decided to book a sexual health test later on today. I hear they put stuff down your japseye. Joy!

He really is talented. He's insightful but never condescending. The Year of Living Biblically is one of my favorite books from last year. I wasn't so sure that the premise of The Know It All was something I would get into.

But, if you suggest it as something I would enjoy, I will pick it up, Liamon. I find Jacobs to be pretty charming and easy to just pour through one of his books. His tone is pretty much perfect for me.

In many ways I found this one funnier than Biblically, but it is more of a general exploration of information than a focused look: like reading a list of random trivia facts with him offering comments on each one. He still manages to tie his work into his personal life, and that's when he's at his best, I think. One of the funniest and most interesting bits of the book is easily when he attends a Mensa convention under the impression that reading the entire encyclopaedia qualifies him for the top percentile of intelligence.

If you liked Biblically, this is definitely more of the same. I reckon you'd like it.

should've got her to get him to meet her somewhere but you show up instead and kick his ass....

Some guy actually tried pulling that with me. The girl (who had left this guy to go out with me) called me like 2 minutes before I left to "meet her", to tell me IT'S A TRAP.

Then she went back to him anyway, so fuck her.

Nah, I found out who the prick was hes from another and I could snap him in half like my boner, but he has a tendency to ring the cops if people bully him or beat him up. Secret poisoning it is I guess. Image file not present in the recovered backup

You can watch with either the original Russian and English subs, or English dubbed voices.
