I love shit like that, couple of years ago I worked at a paintball arena for a day and left (as it was waaaaaaay to far from home and they wanted me to start at 5:30am) then about a year later they got bought out by some other company and about a month after that I got $300 in the mail with a letter saying sorry for the inconvenience and turmoil while the transition and merger with another company was going on.

I know ppl have phoned up in the past and used the "im leaving" line,
but when I phoned I just said can you downgrade the tv and upgrade the intenet, and they just upgraded my internet for free, when I even said I was happy to lose the tv!
