I finally got around to trying this beer last night. It's pretty dark for an ale, and has a thick feel to it if that makes sense. It's pretty smooth though until the aftertaste comes in to play. It's very yeasty and almost bread-like, and is slightly reminiscent of the infamous Vegemite.

At first it completely caught me off guard, but halfway through the pint you get used to it. I'd recommend it.

I'm going to try Hornsby's Crisp Apple Cider next.

I had the Hard Cider. Tastes like delicious apples and is alcoholic. How could you hate it?

If you have had Sam Adam's Boston Lager, this is basically a light version of that. Still retains a nice bitterness for a light beer, but has the typical watery finish.

Sadly, I tried this one just because the bottle and painted on label looked cool. I wasn't disappointed though. Red Stripe has a light taste for a lager, but has an amazing sweet aftertaste that is comparable to caramel. Nothing to brag about, but still recommendable.

Bleh hate that stuff, tui is even worse.

Gimme a becks steiny pure or corona any day.

My suite mates went on a bargain liquor run last night and returned with a bottle of Durango Tequila

I'm not a big fan of tequila, but decided to try a shot just to try it. I instantly regretted it. This stuff doesn't taste remotely like any other tequila I've ever had. I can best describe the taste as watery barbecue sauce with an alcohol kick. Image file not present in the recovered backup

Westons is great. Reminds me of childhoods applethievery. I drink it every now and then. Only cider I really like.

That millers draught isn't too bad, and it has my last name.

I've just always like speights because you can still get it in the crates and going off bourbon. Starting to like Coruba more these days though.
