err there are a lot of myths here
Protein is so much in your natural diet that its not really need to for muscle growth, you want a little in your supplament (post exercise) but its more important to get gylcagen replenishment.
THe best thing you can get is something with tonnes of Glutamic acid (L-glutamine) for muscle recovery, carbs for glycagen replenishment, about 16g of protein per serve and a decent range of amino acids.
Don't bother talking to people at gyms or vitamin stores, they know fuck all and sell you all low carb protein mixes.. it's useless.
Get yourself something called co-enzyme Q10 it's far more effective than anything else, forget about creatine.
Another good product out there is Tribulus, it's pretty cool, basically encourages testosterone. So take that daily (you'll get agro and horny, so basically most days you'll be trying to score with women or fight, but it's all cool)
so in summary
A protein/carb mix with A LOT of glutamic acid
maltidextrin/fructose content for carbs (fucking glycagen replenishment!!)
and a range of amino acids
(my reccomendation if you can get it, is Endura Optimiser and Endura Maintain. I mix the 2 together and it's unreal)
These products also help you convert fat into energy.. so you can cut up nice too.
Tribulus (something with a high dosage at least 8000mg)
Co-enzyme q10 you might have to get this from a chemist, but it basically gives you heaps more energy for longer periods of time.
I also reccomend heaps of fresh fruit in your daily diet plus adequete amounts of protein.
I am a cycling coach, I train people for all kinds of different types of riding, so I need to know about weight gaining, fat loss, energy drinks/foods and everything in between.
I also have been riding/racing bikes at a national level for about 10 years, with some dabling at an international level.
People like personal trainers will deny the shit I'm saying, but I'm 100% correct. I know my shit here...
I hope this is of help. Steer clear of all the gymics, all these products claiming all this bullshit. Keep it simple. You're body works one way, and you can only make it do so much. If you have any questions just ask me..
p.s forgive me if my spelling is wrong on some of the techy words I never normally have to write them down haha
There are many different techniques of gaining muscle mate, I know people that are huge that don't follow one technique you are suggesting. I'm not saying you are wrong, just that other sources arn't entirely incorrect as you claim.
P.S. There is no supported evidence that Tribulus enhances your testosterone levels, testosterone directly controls the amount of muscle you will pack on provided the other factors are right, tribulus just stimulates androgen receptors in the brain, hence the horniness.
