here's the deal, its rare to sign a deal with just best buy.
when u sign a good distribution deal, best buy is one of the stores included in the distributors access. if not, the distributor isn't big time. wal-mart is really the only store that brokers a LOT of independent distribution.
no distribution deal for n. america is being signed until I find out if the tv commercial deal is going forward or not. other territories such as Australia, New Zealand, maybe Japan for early dvd distribution, Asia, Europe and N America mobile phones, UK DVD distribtion, Spain DVD distribution, there's other deals but they take time to sign. + I need to make sure I get the best deal possible for me and the groups involved so negotiating adds time.

it's official... the muppets clip has sold to tv. the tv show has purchased the clip for $2,000 and muppets might be recieving a $300-$400 bonus if the show chooses to use more footage.
muppets already know about the good news.
other groups footage is being reviewed. more footage will be licensed in the next couple of months. dan G and everybody else will hopefully get some clips sold soon.
everybody and every group that submits footage for the homegrown collection will have their footage pitched to tv shows for free and you keep all the tv money...
so this is just an added perk for everybody involved in the homegrown collection dvds. I need more groups involved so hurry up and email me at [email address redacted] if you want to get involved.

here's the deal... this show that bought muppets was finishing up their last episode for next season, so they won't be buying clips for a few months probably.
just focus on getting me out new footage in the next 2-3 weeks.
all of the shows on tv will be looking for content.
I have something else in the works, I'll be producing a new tv show, and details will be announced here today or tomorrow.
