MUPPETS GETTING ON TV IN THE USA!

As discussed earlier on this message board, I'm working with a few TV shows in the USA and Europe, trying to license footage to the shows.

I'm very happy to say that we got the first deal. They want the Muppets clip where the guy nearly blows his face off with fire.

I got confirmation today right now with this email... I just checked my email...

"The story of the guy who lights the barrel and takes a blast in the face is approved for our show. We are going to need all the lead up to that, the accident and all of the aftermath. The guy runs off with the camera in chase... but we would like to see it play out. Let me know if we can do this and I'll have our clearance department contact you ASAP."

So muppets, if you have any other footage of this accident caught on video, please GET IT TO ME ASAP. I'm not sure how much payment for this clip will be but it will be at least $1,000. I'll be negotiating that and seeing what they offer.

I don't know if they tv show is sending a crew to the UK to shoot an interview but likely not because it's far away. I don't know though 100%.

The TV show is Worlds Most Amazing Video and it airs on Spike TV.

And I hardly call licensing footage "working with TV shows". Heaps of crews on here have been doing it for years.

Anyway, you dont own the rights to the footage so I hope you pass the licence agreement on to the right people at Muppets and they do the rest of the deal and only give you a 15% agents fee.

on the tv deals, all the money goes to the groups. im not looking nor trying to make money off of the tv deals. its just a bonus to the groups that submit footage for the homegrown collection dvds or groups that have me produce their own group dvds.

Well done muppets, and I dont know why people are still hitting on moody. This news is post worthy as it is giving exsposure for a group, and thats only ganna benifit the HG scene. Also, he's produced the dvd he said he would, granted there were some delays and a few fuck ups on his behalf but it's there and being distributed. Only time will tell if he delivers when it coems to payments and I think he will.

I don't see why alot of people have jumped on the hate moody bandwagon, elliot I belive has some past shit with moody and thats fair enough, but still elliot don't you get bored of only posting to shit on moody? Arguments like this like webby said are only damaging the scene.

HG needs a way for groups that want to get exsposure to get it, and the way I can see it moody is one of the best ways for groups tog et this exsposure. So lets cut the crap and all grow up a bit.

I agree, this is definitely post worthy, and its also awesome news if its actually true.

To be honest, I'm surprised to hear Moody has no intentions of taxing the compensation for broker fees. I'm glad he isn't planning on doing that because the Muppets well deserve that cash.

Anyway, I'm gonna refrain from any speculation for the time being. When I know this is actually legit I'll voice my opinion.
