When I go to licensing meetings for my club with Police and stuff, they said they were plugging to have the drinking age changed to 21. It came up because the legal smoking age goes up to 18 on October 1st.

Drinking age to 21 would be nob. I'll be 21 when I finish uni haha. Will give me an excuse not to drink and hit the training hard though but that would be overly gay.

yeah, but matt, the police have been wanting it, but the government has already said they have no plans to change it. Making alcohol harder to get hold of would just cause an american style situation where kids just use drugs insted as their simplier to get than booze.
Upping it would be stupid, we need to adopt a continental view towards alcohol, making it a bigger deal than it already is would just be delaying hte inevitable, educate the kids on how to get pissed and fuck up their livers properly!

Haha, it aint me making the age 21 Luke lol. Meh I dont think they will, but im just letting you know its being really pushed.
Also, just got back from work. Spent hours dealing with Police, a pikey smacked a guy in my club tonight and took 1/3 of his bottom lip off his face. Literally. I had to hold this guys mouth together. Blood everywhere, he is K'Od on floor. Bouncers are chasing this pikey down. Ambulance came and got the guy and Police arrested the pikey. I gotta go do a line up now. Took me ages to go threw all the CCTV footage and burn it off for Police as well. :|

Got back to the house and spent a while chatting to my flatmate about her fucked up mother, then came upstairs to crash out. Got a house party to go to tomorrow.
