Honestly, I wouldnt know, but I believe gman could in fact get $2000+ for this place if he has the time to find the right buyer.
I also wanna say that worse case scenario...some fag buys this place...I have full intentions of making an alternative homegrown forum and Id put roughly $500 into prizes just to get the new forum jumpstarted.

I think making my own forum would be bad enough...here would be some guy dishing out $2000 for a forum that would turn out like ckf within a month. Id only make my own forum if the new admin was in fact a dick, or if people just really urged me to. I wouldnt make my own forum if people didnt want me too.

You see...its only worth that much to a man with mass spamming and advertising in mind. No one is going to pay that much, unless they intend to make it back with ads and spam.
To a buisness man, every registered user is worth about a $1.00. He can sell the email addies and do all kinds of shit to make back his money. 2000 registered users = $2000
But to a person who doesnt intend on making a profit off a forum that cost over a $1,000...well I dont think there are many people out there like that, but I hope to be proved wrong.

I think that the members should pledge enough money for gman,
if we can pledge enough ($2000) then he wouldnt sell it,
if you think about it if there are at least a 100 good active members who are on alot, easy, and this place has done so much for all the members that exist, I dont think it would be good to loose the ownership to some one thats "could" fuck it up and ruin it for all of you members.
if they each donated $20 that would be enough

The problem I think is right now people will donate... but then forget about it and wait till the next time. If there was a payment thing then it would not be a issue. And it would make gman or other admins work on the forum more.

I have gone over my funds , and so far in my wallet I have found a £5 note . TWO one pound coins THREE 1p's and a 10p coin.
