Well that is great. Because I don't want to be famous or want money. I want a job yes but not doing this. I do this cause I like doing it. I love making ppl laugh. So I am not about the money.

Most of my videos are aimed at a local audience, I'd rather be well-known with people my age that aren't even into HG or skating etc. People like that are easier to impress and don't really criticise, as I think funk said before.
Stuff like this has got me thinking about just releasing all my best stuff on the net like B.I etc, I can't be fucked getting music rights and releasing a full dvd that not many people would want, better that people can be interested and just see it all without waiting. I'm just ranting about nothing so I'm gonna stop.

Yeah its true, I'm basically making FUKT to make whatever money I can, and gain as much notoriety as possible. But without distribution, I'll probally only sell a 100 copies and break even, but Im cool with that. I dont really care. Im going to get 5000 copies pressed, and I'll keep selling them till Im 40 if I need to. They DVDs wont be going anywhere, I wont be going anywhere, and potentional customers will always be out there. Thats how I look at it. My main drive is just to have a title under my belt, to have my life summed up into 60 minutes on a DVD and played on the tv screens of whoever is willing to cough up 20 bucks plus S&H. It's about going full out. Ive gone through to much to just make some little video sold to locals and close friends.

After reading that I agree with but I also dissagree.....

If youve filmed a varity of stunts and want to put it into a video.....then it will be a mixup How the hell are you suppose to show people a video of all your stunts....and it not be a mixup im so damn confused

I like the idea of not making a dvd. Web clips are alot better. I am just going to just realease our whole vid onto the net to download.

I never wanted to make a dvd anyway. I just do this to have fun thats all.

I film and edit stuff for my own personal enjoyment.

I love the fact that people enjoy our videos and I get satisfaction out the end result. It is true that web clips have their advantages cause the audience is much larger.

Delayed Reaction are begining to film thier DVD, not to make money or get loads of attention (although that would be a plus) but to entertain people. Yeah, you could say this could be done by posting clips on the internet.

But I feel a DVD is something more. It is an item, you own it. There's no way I could post an hour long video on the internet, its impracticul (sp?) - I feel a DVD is like a portfolio of all your best footage, you can sit down with friends and watch something you've created. This is what I did.

Obviously its not gonna stop us posting clips online, as that is what keeps people interested, but yeah I feel DVDs are just as important as web clips and mixups.

I do agree with what Boner is saying about newbie groups going straight into DVDs, its pretty pointless, you need to build on a following and support. I feel DR have got to the stage where we have more support and people enjoy the stuff we produce.

I have no idea what parts of what I just wrote apply to this thread, it may all be irrelevant.

Just filling some time between not doing this Philosophy essay and watching porn.

I make mixups cause I enjoy watching and making them
when used right it cuts right to the action ,no bullshit or boring build up

but yeah I agree about people should be more original,this is mostly the new groups tho

With stunts all you can really do is a mixup unless its a short clip with one stunt in it. Its ok if you just do skits because u dont do a mix up of skits do ya.

I agree on the groups who come here and try and sell a dvd straight away and also agree with you on the tossers who think they need a great cam for filming lame ass shit. Waste of money when they could get a couple of other cams and still have money left to spend on stuff for good stunts and shit, I would much rather watch a great clip or dvd that has amazing content because hte group spent time money in really bad quality, than a dvd or clip that has been filmed with hte best cam around but has bush jump after trolley after bush jump.

Im in Hg too have laugh and make hte best videos we can. If we did make a dvd we would sell it so we just amde enough money not too loose any. I dont want fame or wealth from it, I do like having our name out their though and being remmberd for what we have done.
