OK, OK. We usually push it up to about 10%, which took a lot of arm-wrestling and teeth-pulling for me to agree to, but as we've kind of established this rate, I guess I have to stick with it.

I can't guarantee site plugs in the footage. A lot of our partners have spent millions on branding and marketing and get really bitchy about letting third-parties piggy back their traffic. Basically, wherever we can push a url, we will do it. Just can't guarantee it

That's really, really high (almost as high as what I'm paying major record labels), and the other companys can suck my balls, because I've done this for almost 3 years straight, and seen most of them go bust. Everybody, I have paying gigs, not horse-shit expectations and opportunities. I'd be happy to get great footage into distribution, not fight over terms.

OK, I have an idea. Everybody that thinks their stuff is worth more than 10%, give me urls for me to review clips. If I think it's funny, outrageous, or unbelievable in any way, I will up the %. If I see hours of people fucking about in shopping carts, or everything is shot in night vision, you'll get shit.

Elliot, that's all wrong. I've been offering a good return for good content. I get a couple of messages saying it's low, so I've got to be convinced that I should make a cut elsewhere to offer more. I still hold that the 10% is good.
