Elliot, No Mercy and Matt aren't needed for this production and I don't want to work with anybody that doesn't trust me.

I'll say it right now and for one final time, this is going to be the best Homegrown DVD ever made.

For the groups that trust me and trust how the footage will be presented, you won't be let down. Once this DVD is released I'll have a lot fewer critics on this message board but that is just a matter of time and a lot of hard work on my end.

Dude, as Ive said 100000 times.. I hope this thing works out, I dont want the groups to have their name on some peice of shit so I really do hope its good.

What groups have you got footage from? ie: Confirmed, in your possesion and ready to edit?

I'll look through the packages tomorrow and post a list of what groups I already have in my possession. Most of the really good groups are in the process of sending me the footage though.

I just finished 12 months of making our own one. I didnt really want to look at another edit suite for a while.

In saying that, I wouldnt mind having a look at another title in the near future but who knows.

Why would you make 5 hour movie? Thats not smart. If Id had a five hour movie I would just make it to 1 hour and five times as fast paced.

And besides that you say you dont have any problems of getting that much footage.... but then the deadline is in 9 days and you cant even confirm what groups give you something, or have given. get your shit together, if I was producer I would know that kind of little details.

Why havent you pm´ed or mailed me some new songs that I could listen to? Any music genre goes, if its good.

I'll be getting new music next week. I was asked to list the groups I have footage from already late last night and didn't feel like digging through the packages. I'll post it today but right now I'm in the middle of a bunch of work and organizing packages to be sent out to people that bought my last DVD, so I'm busy at the moment. I'll post it later.

Okies, howbout the lenght? Preferably making more fast paced and shorter...?

The DVD will be fast paced with some interview footage spliced in. The length really depends on how many groups are featured in the DVD. I want as many quality groups involved as possible and I'm not concerned about that making the DVD longer.

Here's a list of some of the footage I already have...

A guy named Felix Stork sent me Joch-O The Movie which is a bunch of stunts (some clips are cool but nothing special).

Recjected Sent in some footage. Some good stuff and some stuff that isn't good. A mix.

I also have footage of Arse Marks sent in by Rico but it is on VHS and I don't have a VCR here so I haven't watched this yet.

I have footage from WGAS and I like this group. Some of their footage cracks me up. They got this one clips where they put an electrical dog collar around one of their group members necks and they electrocute him. They have some good stuff.

This one group BLG, from some countr in Europe sent me footage and I swear it is like 10 year old kids doing the dumbest stunts in history of the world. I should post some of this just to give you guys a good laugh.

after reading the stuff posted from the last couple of days I'm starting to get hesitant now......... everyone seems to be split down the middle. I guess I will listen to dex since he's the only one on here I have really talked to for more than a day or so, not that I think a 24 year old should be taking business advice from a 17 year old, I am just confused

You'd be making some money off the back end by getting paid a % of the royalties. The majority of people that watch the DVD won't know anything about your group, so your website would be plguged at the beginning of your segment, so if you're entertaining the viewers will likely want to check out your website which could lead to more sells for your own personal group DVD. You'll also recieve a free copy of the DVD or copies depending on how many the distributor supplies me with. These are just a few reasons I can think of off the top of my head.

I'm not bullshitting. I've invested a lot of time into getting some of the better groups involved.

Distribution will either go directly to stores. My past productions have sold in Best Buy, FYE, Tower Records, Amazon.com, etc... Or I'm going to sign a deal that will have the DVD sold in TV commercials similar to how Best of Backyard Wrestling was marketed on TV in the past with a 1-800 number and website to order the DVD. Personally, I want the TV commercial deal because the profit margin is much higher than having it sold in stores but the TV commercial distributor needs to want the production first, then it costs money to start the distribution campaign which isn't cheap but if they want to run with it I can make it happen.

Of course I'm going to tell the involved groups that they get free copies. I've heard of some productions that made the involved groups buy copies off the producer which I felt was in bad taste so I'm going to make it clear that groups get free copies.

Groups usually don't send footage out until right before the deadline. That was my experience with Backyard Criminals and I'm sure it will be the same with this. I have footage from other groups as well and I can have my former producer sign me over the rights to other footage he has but I rather not ask him to do that. I'm confident in the groups on the board and the groups I've talked with to be the main groups of the DVD.
