That is so true. And most likely your local friends dont know shit either, so Id talk to actual lawyer to be sure. At least in Finland there is lots of chances to get free legal counseling. Eg. my uni offers it to students.

But the incident Ben mentioned is fucking ridicilous

Whats the laws on murdering someone? Is that still considered illegal?

Yes, but there is few exceptions eg: If the person is minor and have allready been lost for 5 months, its not considered as a murder, but as getting the trash out.

Weed's not a hard drug but a Finnish hockey player has been going to court for different hearings for the past 2 years just because of a picture they found of him with some kind of white powder like substance under his nose

Well I don't know how it works in finland, but if you are playing in a sports franchise and you are caught partying with some illegal shit in the mix stuff will get said.

The fact he is going to "court hearings" and not in "jail" is because it was a picture of white stuff and they can't prove it coke. By court hearings are you sure you don't mean hearing from the league? I don't see what the police would be bothering to do with a photograph, but sports leagues take drugs real serious.

If they found him with coke it would be a different story.

Plus random bloke with a camera and weed and famous athlete with paparazzi and white powder (photoshop why not).

It's all about reasonable doubt if you live in america.

It was court hearings. He was senteced to prison for few years. And the main evidence being one fucking lousy picture. But the picture was confiscated during a drug bust on local motor cycle team (motor cycle team is pretty much synonym to organised crime around here.). They could also verify connections to people who are big in the drug business. That combined to the picture got him the sentence.

Actually that was his second drug trial. He got a sentence from his first one too. It was about funding drug deals.

I got footage of a cop slaming a kids face to the concrete. The cop even has a tattoo of a wolf on his ankle so I can clearly identify him. Can I blackmail the cop? It was clearly police brutality.

Heres the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyGygis1ADA

Blackmailing a cop will not end well for you. Even if the cop does get charged.

The cop will get suspended at most.

Let the News have it if you really want the guy to get embarrassed.

Whats the worst that could happen if I was caught inside an abandoned cinema?

Breaking and entering I guess but would I just get a warning or a fine or court or anything like that?

I got a DUI recently. I was literally trying to go 3 blocks from a bar to my friends. I dont get behind the wheel if I cant handle my liqoure, and now I will never drink/drive. not kool. I was really was caught off guard by the xanax I had taken. thank god I didnt hit anyone.

screw paying $2000 for a lawyer, the field subriety test says it all. but I want the tape! Can I get it, and can I put it in my DVD? Is there video of me when I went into the jail? I refused to to give a mugshot since they denied me of my right to a blood test, instead of a breathalyser. So I want that on tape and them trying to use preassure points to make me face the camera. I KNOW MY RIGHTS!
