Both will induce a temporary fever, a steam room is just more effective

Well I forgot to do week 2 update. Kinda fallen off the band wagon so to speak due to going to amsterdam. Still haven't eating bread crisps and chocolate and trying to keep my calorie intake reasonably low, but haven't managed to do any exercise unfortunately.
But when monday comes I'm going to start back up again.

think ive won this, I did a crash course in getting glandular fever, didnt eat anything for 4 days then threw up a cup of tea. have managed to eat the odd couple of cheerios or so, have munched more pills than pacman and have drank a good decade or so's worth of apple and blackcurrant juice.
this nutritional diet has given me a nice concentration camp complexetion.
winnn.

Weekend and Monday was shit, ate a triple whopper, drank 2 litres of vodka, chinese, shitloads of buscuits, mega bucket of KFC and so on.
Tue, Wed and today have been intense. Been hitting the weights for high rep, one day upper body, one day lower body. Not used to endurance training, so I ache like a bitch. Food intake been great as well, eating small portions but reguarly, plenty of protein, moderate carbs and fairly low fat.
Hard to get an accurate idea of how much weight I lost so far this week due to shite scales measuring me between 15st13lbs and 15st8lbs
Anyway, I need to control myself this weekend. Tomorrow is my day off, will indulge in a little vodka and diet sodas and eat clean, probably steak to soak the alcohol up. Saturday, have a party to attend to so must avoid cake and dirty snacks. Will full up on bland cottage cheese and stick to vodka and diet sodas, will make sure I do some cardio and training saturday and hopefully sunday.
If I can manage a good weekend, I should be on track for some good weight loss next week, averaging around 6lbs in 2 weeks. We shall see though.

To give an update - I've gotten my reps every morning and night up to 120 crunches, and 30 push-ups. I can do 20 pull ups now as well, but I don't usually work those into the regular routine because I tend to get exhausted from them.
Still haven't drank any soft drinks, and my fast food consumption is at 0. Feeling really good about myself, and my abs are definitely starting to show, especially right after my crunches. For a fleeting moment, I know a little bit how it must feel like to be Sam all the time.
edit - minus all the shame and loneliness.

I dont think hes going to like that. what do you think?

My own get stacked challenge ends on Monday when I leave for Cali. im not very happy about the progress.. but then again... its the same thing every year... I fail at looking like John Cena ;D
12 June 2009, 08:03 UTC#114
15st6lbs this morning, down from 16.2st at beggining of competition. W00p, must keep on straight and narrow.
15 June 2009, 20:18 UTC#115
Dont really know what 'week' it officially is in the Get stacked challenge. But I'm going to try and do some exercise from now on, as I have failed over last few weeks.
Just weighed myself and weigh 11.33 stone. Which is weird, as it would imply that I have lost weight over last 2/3 weeks, despite not doing any exercise, and eating slightly worse than I was.
Anyway I'm going to try and get back into a routine.
16 June 2009, 21:31 UTC#116
I havent really been doing much in the whole "working out" department but suprisingly after cutting down on certain foods, ive lost about 7 pounds
30 September 2010, 18:08 UTC#117
epic bump**
time to get in shape again fags.
quote G. on this;
You will need to supply weekly updates at least to remain in the competition. We need;
* How much weight you've lost / gained this week
* How well you stuck to your routine / regime
* Any strength gains in the gym?
Consider this thread as your blog.
How is it going so far?
As for me around the 7th of september, give or take a few days I decided to quit pot (was smoking it daily or every other day for about the pass oh I dunno 4 or 5 years maybe) as well drinking. I stopped doing other stuff along time ago, so basically what im saying is im straight edge right now, and plan on staying that way. I like the sober feeling.
I started to work out again on the 13th and I have been keeping track of my progress. the first 2 weeks I started out light, and this week I have been doing a little bit more in each workout because next week I start going really hard. I am not the best at working out, im no professional, but I enjoy what I do, and thats really what counts.
my schedule breaks down to this.
monday - weight training (chest and back)
tuesday - cardio (jogging)
wednesday - weight training (shoulders and legs)
thursday - cardio (jogging)
friday - weight training (biceps and triceps)
saturday - off weights and off cardio (will explain what I do)
sunday - off completly let my body and mind rest
I want to note as well that I do push ups, monday to saturday, and on cardio days I do yoga and an ab workout.
I wont go into full details listing what different exercises I do for each muscle category. (just yet) but I would def love to hear some from members like dodge, jonas, shit even mr alasuvanto, they all seem to be in fairly legit shape from what I remember.
the push ups I do is 2 sets of 25, so daily I do 50. starting next week ill be doubling that. I actually really hate push ups cuz my shoulders are still fucked from hockey, but they are really good to do, so I just dont be a pussy and do them.
saturdays = sometimes I do cardio but not usually, I do the push ups, and yoga and ab workout, and I might try to incorporated some more stuff in there but usually by then im like its the weekend, I wanna slack a little bit.
as well as doing the excercise I have started to eat healthier and better, not as much as I would prefer but im working onnit and I have been staying pretty good at it. I still have some junk food from time to time, but eh. I keep it controlled.
in the short time I have been doing this I found the key to success is self control. I already notice muscle gains in my body as well as some weight loss, im down about 5 or 6 pounds already. looking to loose more.
im not looking to get big like most guys that hit the gym are. infact im looking for the opposite. im looking to loose weight and then ton muscle. basically I want to looked ripped and defined instead of being like huge and muscular.
so yeah members all I can say is that I would love to see other people doing this again, and I guarantee after u start doing it for awhile u will feel better, u will look better, and yur life will be better.
edit - I wanna state now that when the ice gets put in the arena here I will be doing cardio everyday with free skating and hockey
