Security is for babies and bitches, pick one.

You're not helping Al...you're just being your usual dumb fucking self with opinions that no one could possibly take seriously.
Good luck with your career as a fiction author too...lol Or wait, do you plan on getting a 'real job' one day as well?
And trust me, unless you're someone like Stephen King or JK Rowling (or in Australia, Bryce Courtney) being a fiction writer isn't going to earn you shit. Probably the most insecure career there is.
But then again, security is for 'bitches' as you so aptly put it, so I guess I can see why that's the path you've chosen.

whatever.. its a forum site, get over the sarcasm and hate
I did!
if anything, I contribute

never sell out, only fags sell out
17 November 2007, 06:11 UTC#126
Thank you kind sir.
I have thought about this myself and no, I don't consider money to equal happiness. I consider doing what you love makes you happy.
But then again, the field I've chosen at the moment is a precarious one--many people often go months without work. And if you're out of work, you can't possibly be happy (mainly due to financial stress). So you can see why this is a catch 22 for me.
Thanks though man, appreciate it.

Wow, real hard to pick on the guy that actually puts himself out there in a creative fashion.
Luckily I kick ass at what I choose to do, shit, I'm only worried too many stupid fucks like you overpopulate.
18 November 2007, 07:35 UTC#131
I'm not saying you're bad at what you do (unlike you, I'm not a dumb fuck who jump to conclusions--I've never even read your work).
I'm just saying that most writers need to have a profession or as some might say, a 'real job' to fall back on. That's reality--which is something you're evidently not in tune with. I mean, how is that so hard to understand from what I posted? Once again; you're a dumb fuck.
I have nothing but respect for fiction writers. It's a hard thankless job for most of them. I just hate the lazy ones who think they can live off their work when they haven't even completed a single manuscript. It's ridiculous.

There you go jumping to conclusions, how do you know I haven't completed a manuscript?
Your dumb-stupid.

I think that's a pretty reasonable conclusion to jump to actually--considering your personality type and all (and by that, I mean ignorant). Prove me wrong. Post the first three chapters--hell, I'd be happy with one chapter.

When I was 12 I filled up over 7 legal pads (full). Since then I've written multiple short stories, if you were anyone else I'd send you the current story I'm working on (mostly because I've gotten nothing but positive reviews and I'd love to rub your nose in it), but I don't trust you seeing as how your a douche and also a writer.
I forget what chapter I'm on (I think it's like 7 or 8) but I will e-mail Sla-vin my story and he can confirm that I actually am working on one (even if he doesn't read it).
19 November 2007, 03:39 UTC#138

19 November 2007, 03:40 UTC#139
What is your e-mail?
19 November 2007, 03:42 UTC#140
Dude, like I would try to steal your work lol
If I was going plagiarize someone, you'd be the last person; let me assure you of that. And still, my point remains valid: You haven't completed your manuscript. Which was my original assumption, remember? I never denied the fact that you were/are working one.
You need to pull that ginger head out of your god forsaken asshole and get your facts straight.

Jeeze, for someone who wants to be a writer you don't read well. I wrote a 7 legal pad manuscript when I was 12 lol.
This current one isn't done, your original assumption is wrong, I win, game over.
19 November 2007, 03:51 UTC#142
lol O.K. Al, whatever you say mate...when it gets published make sure you sign me a copy. I'd be glad to read it.

I wrote it when I was 12 lol, it sucks, no one has ever seen it but my Mom so I don't see why I would ever send it in.
You said I never finished manuscript, that was your original point. You jump to conclusions, that was my original point.
Were I am on this thing I'm writing has nothing to do with the fact your a fucking "jumping to conclusiony" mother fucker, and need to stop making assumptions.
Edit: And posting.
Edit2: Sla-vin I'll send you that thing when I get back from whataburger.
19 November 2007, 04:07 UTC#144
Merely writing down on a legal pad doesn't consist of manuscript Al.
Man, you've really got a lot to learn.
end of.

J.K. Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter on napkins, I guess thats not a manuscript?
Fucking tardass lol, your biggest flaw is you think you know everything. It probably works with your stupid friends, but I DO happen to know everything. Like Ginger Jesus.
19 November 2007, 04:30 UTC#147
No, what you have is called a first draft.
A manuscript is typed out to begin with, and it has to conform to the standards of whatever publisher you happen to be sending it to. That, and manuscripts are usually edited (usually by 2 separate people) and re-written at least 3 or 4 times before submission. And then they are re-written again during the publishing phase...often more than once.
Congratulations on completely undermining the feild you hope to enter, you fucking dipshit. And no...I don't know everything. But I obviously know a lot more on the subject than you do. So SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Dude, thats such a FUCKING STUPID STATEMENT are you kidding me?
So it's not a story until I type it up and conform to some publishers standards?
Your ridiculous dude, you really need to think before you speak. I mean your just trying to explain to me about publishing which has nothing to do with story writing.
Your a bitch ass.
