I'm already "grown up", as I thought most people here were, lol.
Trust me, growing up has nothing to with age...it's a state of mind.
Unless you're in your 30's; then its just pathetic.
Anyway, I have a cool invention idea. It's for a pillow that always stays at a certain temperature. You know how when you're laying in bed for ages and then the pillow gets really hot and then you have to turn it over? And then when you do turn it over it feels really good? Well, I want a pillow that stays cool
all the time.
That would be fucking sweet. Considering I have insomnia and have to turn my pillow 3-4 times a night. Its damn annoying.

Never a boring day with Geaslin's testicals about.

When I wear boxer's my balls are all willy nilly, when I wear briefs my dick gets claustrophic. I've already designed this Ball Support model of boxers. I just need a like minded individual who has the drive and shit. Lots of money would be pimp as well, if they can pay for the idea to be built thats ideal.

Try to become a writer.
If that doesn't happen I'll learn how to make strains and spend my time making a strain.
What type of writer exactly? journalist?
Telling you man, cadetships at major newspapers are hard as fuck to get into. Even with a uni degree, your chances are pretty slim. Best to start now with as much freelance stuff that you can get your hands on.
Hey, I wish it was easier too, but unfortunately its not. Just a fucked industry when you think about it. Most journos don't get paid much for the amount of work they do either, which sucks.

Journalism is for queers.
I'm gonna write novels about me slaying wenches with my meat sword.
04 November 2007, 22:51 UTC#38
Now you see, I think the opposite. I think novels are for queers. To quote the Simpsons:
Lisa: why don't you write a novel?
Bart: Nah, I'd rather write something that isn't gay.
But if you're gonna write stuff like that, chances are you wouldn't get it published anyway. It's a well-known fact that 99% of fiction manuscripts get thrown in the slush pile. I hope you have a good agent with good connections.
Not saying your book would be bad...I'd love to read stuff about wrenches getting slayed and shit.

I have come to realize that I really want to do something that is Mathematics related...I'm leaning towards become a college professor, that would be ideal for me

Is anyone else seeing Lamer trying to hard to bring me down in any situation?
Lamer, I just want to write dude. I don't film to be successful nor would I write to be successful.
I just want to do something I enjoy. But I happen to know a published Author who loves my writing so that kind of gives me hope that I could one day reach a wider audience with my literature.
Also a fact 99% of fiction is shitty, like 99% of home movies are shitty. I'm that 1% in the home movies area. Gives me hope in other areas.
05 November 2007, 00:06 UTC#42
Al, you'd be an amazing writer...
Just because you know how to word shit perfectly
05 November 2007, 00:09 UTC#43
Nah man, you've got me all wrong. I aint trying to bring you down or anything. Just giving you the straight up facts. It's a fucked industry. Ask anyone in it and they will tell what I just told you.
Ask your friend who's a published author...he'll tell you how hard it is. He probably got rejected by like 10 publishers before he got his book out to the public. Good you know him though. Connections mean everything to up and coming writers. It's not what you know, but who you know. Still, you are gonna need an agent. A bloody good one at that.
And how can you say 99% of fiction sucks when you haven't even read 1% of fiction that has been published? Don't be so presumptuous.

Geeze dude, you only commented at my post (and only my post, after I made it clear I don't like you), made false assumptions followed by cut downs.
I don't really want Lamer's career advice unless your a published Author and it's a book I give a damn about.
So many shit books get published dude it can't be THAT fucking exclusive.
Stop replying to my posts or making mention of me. You have proved you obviously can't control the "player hate" duct in your frontal lobe, and therefor can't handle the awesome responsibility of talking to me or much less talking about me.
Good day sir.
05 November 2007, 00:20 UTC#46
Fine, sorry for trying to give you a heads-up.
Oh, and it is pretty fucking exclusive...if you want to get published by anyone with credibility that is.
Good day to you too.

And I think I was right to assume you wanted to get into journalism...considering you said that you worked on the school newspaper and everything.
