You know, the dvd route IS the best way to go.

I want to work for 2 or 3 years, working, slaving and saving everything so that I can finally release a DVD and have a whopping 13 people see it.

I'm not after money. I have a job and shit, I'd just rather make a full video so people can see all the good shit full quality.

Yeah, I don't think any of us ever plan or anticipate making a money at doing this... when we do make some cash, it's to pretty much cover the cost of supplies we used to make them, and shit we buy for certain skits, etc... It doesn't even cover all of that stuff. So there definitely isn't a "profit" to speak of...

I don't even really care about how the forum is doing much anymore, cause even if it shuts down I can still go out and film with chris and cody and it won't be any differn't.

I get more feedback from people Non-HG related these days then people on the forum ever gave. And I really only release my vids to a small audiance here anyway, now I just cut out the middle man and show those people directly through MSN or AIM.

If the forum shuts down I can still talk to all my buds on MSN and AIM.

I don't like sounding anti-productive, but in the end HGF and even HG isn't as important to me as freak.inc is.

I had the terrible mistake of try to start filming content aimed for the people in this forum.

Dunno why, but its the worst idea you can ever have. Our old webpage was shit, our videos sucked so much.. but people here loved them. Everybody was talking about us everytime asking for new videos and shit. But then, our server crashed, but thats another story.

Everyone has HUGE possibilites of making it big where they live, dont give a fuck what they say here, maybe take it like advice, but keep doing it if people like it.

Release videos, get bashed, thats the fun of it, youre not Carmen Electra to be liked by everyone. If HGF hates it, maybe your friends not.. and thats the important thing.

The scene is not dying. And if its dying its our fault. The new groups sucks? let them live, give them advices, get interested in them.. dont treat them like shit, they are the future. And if you think they sucked, wait for the new wave of shitty teams with phone cams coming here showing of their copied antics of Jackass 2.

Bashing videos is when someone indulges in talking pointless shit about a video just for the sake of putting someone down. There was one person here who used to do that day in and day out and it was pretty funny. This was over a year ago though. No one bashes videos anymore.

Im honest when I leave feedback in a video. I say what I liked and I didnt like. The feedback I leave isnt all that constructive, but then again...neither is what anyone else says.

Back in the day people offered tips and what not but now its down to just "cool video" or "lame video". If you care to do a search you'll see that 90% of the feedback I leave falls under the "cool video" category Image file not present in the recovered backup

Actually, when I leave feedback it has to be more than a few words, instead of just "cool video." I hate that.

Eveyone on HGF needs to read this thread, I learned a lot reading this, and definantly realized some things. More videos do need to be released. This thread inspired me to show some more shit from the new Arse DVD, just so I can get better feedback on filming and editing. Just like the thread with my Arse Rebirth trailer. Some pepole said they didn't like the fonts, I asked how to get better, and I got a link to an awesome site. That's what it's all about.

And some people really do need to loosen up around here. We all love each other and want to play with each other's weiners anyways.

And I agree about the 2007, the year of the Homegrown DVD. People will be broke!
