I always thought that Signs revealed the aliens too soon and then there's that one scene that always had me laughing where the aliens try to enter the basement. I haven't seen it in forever though

Made In Britain. Fantastic film with Tim Roth playing a young offender/nazi.

The Hapeening
was an alright film. I enjoyed it.

South Park - Imaginationland, Not too bad, A few scenes added to the broadcast version but the real clincher for purchase for me was the addition of "the woodland critter christmas" episode... Season 8 is still quite awhile away here in aus, so it's cool to be able to get this episode prior to the whole season's release.
The other bonus episode is manbearpig though... Sigh.

The Happening
When I saw previews for this, I was really excited to see it, because it looked so good. Then after reading Ray's negative review about it, I became rather skeptical. I finally decided to give it a watch. It started off pretty good, so I thought that Ray was just being picky as fuck, but around the middle, it just got horrible. I wanted to turn it off, but thought that the ending would save it somehow. I was wrong

It's sad to think that a movie that seemed to be so good turned out to be fucking horrid.

I am picky as fuck, Wesley.
That being said, I actually am one of the select few people who enjoyed The Village. I think it's Shamyalan's second best film behind 6th Sense.
19 June 2008, 21:43 UTC#2,292
For me, The Village was a love/hate thing. I really liked the ending, but the fact that the monsters weren't real pissed me off.

In terms of DVD release, not actually airing... Although I am painfully aware that we lag behind the US and Canada for a majority of DVD releases.

Saw adulthood last night. I didn't really rate it from the trailers, but it was an enjoyable watch with many aspects of black comedy in both senses of the word.

Diary of the Dead.

hahaha. it's so fucking bad, isn't it?
21 June 2008, 09:25 UTC#2,300
Yeah, and you caught my mistake before I edited it haha. DAIRY of the Dead would make for a much better movie.
I was stoked at first but that feeling quickly faded. The only cool part is when they found that Panasonic DVX - something in the hospital. Wish that would happen to me.
