Fuck yes! I was hoping they didn't fuck around with the whole 'Aliens on Earth' premise.



I'll agree with the Predator failing fairly hard at being . . . well, a Predator in the first film. But for some reason I've always had a softer spot for the Alien, so it kind of irks me to see them go down so easily. But, the Predator is quite a formidable opponent, so I can understand why they're able to tear the shit out of Aliens so easily.



Predator = Win.

Alien = Epic Win.

Predator + Alien = "Captain, unfathomable amounts of win are detected in this sector."



Well, I'll be downloading this film for free using iillegitimate sources, so I won't be complaining too much. But as for sticking with 'Aliens' for a true classic, this is almost always the case. =)

paranoid park - not sure if I liked it cause it made me feel uncomfortable throughout. I felt it lacked enough drama and substance, and this was emphasized because there were too many long pointless shots between everything.

I felt the exact way, I had someone argue with me that it was amazing -_-

I liked it. I thought it was pretty well done. A lot of the scenes were really drawn out and I sort of got bored at some points. But, overall it was pretty good, that's just Van Sant's style.

didn't you like elephant too? this movie reminded me so much of it, could have been cut down to an hour.

I just got completely annoyed by the constant slow mo, unneeded scenes they tossed in every 15 minutes. ruined it for me. the train yard scene was fucked tho. they did that very well.

I loved the realism in both of these films. The dialogue was so well done and believable. The actors weren't playing characters, they seemed like they were just playing people. They didn't have this and this and this to have to act like, or this quirk or this defining quality they tried to capture and such. They were just so damned authentic. Both this and Elephant are like that.

But yeah, a lot of dragged, but I was patient. It did feel like you had to earn enjoyment from it.

I get you. it was cool in some parts (acting and etc.) but I'd never watch it again or buy it. I ended up giving it a 3 outta 5.

Is elephant worth watching? Cause I got that too.

Meh it's ok. Watch Zero Day instead.

For about the 100th time. Great film.

I really liked Elephant. It drags a bit too. But, the complete realism is so unsettling, especially at the end. The soundtrack is beautiful and it keeps you engaged. I really enjoyed it. If you want to up it, I'd appreciate that, too.

Street Kings. I had such a fun time watching this movie. One thing did remain a little unclear for me though. Was it made intentionally cheesy like Snakes on A Plane or were they serious with it? Because this movie doesn't have a single realistic dialog in it and it is very unrealistic all the movie through, that's what I found funny about it. It's hard to tell because it never crosses the line enough to be a parody/comedy and there's an Oscar winning actor playing one of the lead roles.
If it's supposed to be a parody then 7/10
If it's supposed to be taken seriously 4/10

Oh and Art School Confidential, I rather liked it.

Some people have liked it a lot though so don't judge it just based on my opinion. I just started to pay extra attention to the dialog between Keanu Reeves' character and someone else's at an early stage of the film because it was so stupid and then couldn't stop doing it for the rest of the movie so that probably ruined it for me haha.. At parts it didn't even sound like the actors were talking to each other.. But it wasn't just the dialog.. Some scenes were so incredibly stupid, like how easily they got some bad guys to become snitches for them. And Keanu Reeves played the worst lead role I've seen in a long time

Beowulf. It looks like an animated film, but it has real persons playing in it. It is a historical fantasy.

just finished watching this and I must say for a movie I have never heard of before it was really good. there's not too much about it on imdb but damn I would download it anyway. really enjoyed the story and the plot.
