I just watched Vantage Point. It was alright, bit predictable. I liked it, but I wouldn't really recomend paying for it.

Watched Vacancy, pretty much wholeheartedly agree with Mike on the levels of shitty fail it acheived. Definitely the worst film of 2008 so far.

Also watched Being John Malkovich after wanting to see it for ages. A really weird movie that totally broke my expectations. Me and my girlfriend agreed it's sort of like mashing together Eternal Sunshine with Donnie Darko. It's got a blinding script, a plot you have to see to understand and some amazing acting.

Malkovich (as himself) at one point must act like John Cusack's character and the instant change in his voice and body is nothing short of striking. It's truly believable that there's someone else in his mind and I was blown away with his talent and dedication to the role throughout the entire movie.

It's a great flick if you enjoy smart, slightly mindfuck movies with a couple of laugh-out-loud moments for good measure. I'd up it if I could :(

Malcovich. Malcovich. Malcovich? Malcovich.

I watched Deuce Bigalow: European Gigalo last night cause it was on TV. I would say it's lowbrow, but even that seem's too generous.

If you like that film you need to see Harsh Times.

Written by the same guy as training day and just as good imo.
