The Fourth Kind

Disappointing and boring overall. The way they integrated the "real" footage into the movie with multiple split screens got pretty confusing at times. There's no way it was actual footage though. Something like that would have made international news, and I'm pretty sure the police wouldn't let a film maker include real footage of a man killing his whole family and himself.

You dont say? lol

Was there too much focus on non-alien horror, you think? Like the guy killing his family sounds like it wouldn't interest me, but the whole abduction aspect is cool as fuck. If the movie just uses the abductions to be all "people went nuts and that's scaaary" then I don't care. I want aliens dammit.

Pretty much all the horror parts are based around abduction in some way, but it's one of those movies that doesn't show a lot until later on like Cloverfield.

International, nice basic thriller, if you want to watch just new basic thriller that is good for what it is, I suggest this.

Last house on the left (2009) I enjoyed it. It was pretty usual gore horror without anythign supernatural (or special for that matter). If thats your genre, this is movie that will entertain you. I also like the aspect that towards the end the bad things were made by the "normal" people. Its bit different and gives you nice refreshing feelings of vengeance.

The girl next door. If elisa cuthbert is worth watching for the whole 90 minutes, watch this. I think she is worth it.

Paranormal Activity, pretty ridicilous, didnt scare me at all, didnt look cool and was pretty much boring. Unlike Blair Witch that actually looked pretty cool with all the 16mm footage and all. Blair Witch had better actors and better characters that were build during the movie. PA just had couple of yankee looking puppets saying doing uninteresting things.

Dirty Dozen, classic, it should be mandatory watch in high shcool.

Ghost Town. Tea Leoni and Ricky Gervais had no chemistry between each other. I thought the acting was really bad and the emotions and whatever evolved in a non-natural way, would have needed more scenes to make the relationships less naive.

Funny People - Some good jokes in there... but the plot was rubbish and adam sandler can get abit annoying at times.

and also just finnished watching INGLORIOUS BASTERDS - I liked it. Tarrantino delivers once again and its a masterpeice as usual. I love the wit in his movies, the charachters, the dialogues, the plot, the violence the cinematography and just about everything.

...the only thing that bothered me a little bit was the fact that Col. Hans Landa who was a very smart guy indeed made such a silly deal... maybe he was desperate.. knew that he was going down anyways... but what guarantees did he have making that deal?

oh and I fell in love with Mélanie Laurent aka Shosanna Dreyfus alias Emmanuelle Mimieux. je'taime!

Extract.

Pretty good film with Jason Bateman and Mila Kunis. She's f-ing incredi-hot. If anyone wants, lemme know. It's done by Mike Judge, same guy who did Beavis and Butthead, Idiocracy, and Office Space.

Surfer Dude. I've never really known what to think of Matthew McConaughey, but he kind of stepped into the positive side with this movie. It's a weird ass movie with a weak plot, but I guess it's more of a lifestyle stoner surfer movie. Plus Woody Harrelson was in it and he's a good guy. Worth watching if you don't hve anything better to do.
