You should! We can pwn together! I'm not all that good at it. But, I'm getting better. It's just tough because I keep trying to play it like CoD. It's just not meant for that type of gameplay at all. If something is in the way, I try to go around it. I don't even consider that it's put there to be in the way so it can be destroyed. It just takes a lot of adjusting and consideration of what the game developers intended with it.

I just got soul calibur 4 and star wars force unleashed for the xbox 360 for the grand sum of 14.99, god bless comet and their buy one get one free shenanigans

I played this lastnight, you all do relises this is Saints Row in Space? the same game just on mars with destructible objects and nice sky settings and future things. ima buy it when its cheaper

Never played Saints Row, but I'm fairly certain this game's geo-mod and physics engine is unprecedented.

I'd rather be a dude called Mason blowing shit up on Mars than a gangbangin douche in a GTA ripoff any day.

Played the demo an it felt nothing like saints row, which imo is a horrible game. Still need to go pick up red faction. Will try and get the effort to head into town today.

maybe you should play saints row again because its a clone of the exact same engeing. which is why the controlls are the same and even the weapons are just ported over. theres hardly any differents in gameplay since its made by same company.

Did you get the Special Edition? For some reason they printed a special edition that has four more kickass tunes on it and it costs like a few bucks more..

Which is why I would choose it over Saints Row, even if they share an engine.

Nah I didnt get the special edition, havent even had a chance to listen to it yet.

Point is, the game is a lot of fun, and physics and destructibility of everything makes it a unique experience well worth the money. Unlike Saints Row, which sounds like the same game, without the parts that make it worth buying.

I enjoy crashing cars into hookers and blowing up groups of blacks with C4 sticky bombs in saints row, but I also like running down spacemen and throwing sticky grenades onto buildings in Red faction.

I dont know why you're all getting defensive though, but It is the same gameplay even if you all dont like it. just different themes, you guys obv like space scifi themes more than streets and crime. I think both are fun to play, but just pointing out this new unque game is an old one with new skins and techtures....and on mars with builds that blow up...but even with that im not sure how long that can keep a game intresting..

Surely that's like discrediting tons of games like BioShock because it runs on the same engine as Unreal Tournament 3? Both decent titles but with entirely different concepts.

You just made it sound like a real negative that "RFG is just running around on Mars which is the same as SR", but Red Faction has a lot more to offer in terms of destructible environments (a staple of the series) and great physics and multiplayer.

I prefer the sci-fi tone, of course; but I also appreciate the numerous gameplay enhancements that have been added to the base engine they used in Saint's Row. If every game that used the same engine as another wasn't worth playing, the market would be about 1/10th the size it is now, haha.
