There is a difference between talking about big things being done, and actually having being things being done.....

Right now with how much you are praising this UFC documentry here while not much has done with the HGC is kinda weak. We understand your happy, congrats if it is any good. However first and foremost you are here on buisness, any other reasons for you being here is purely secondary. Now to me, that seems like bad buiness. For example, lets say I have get a deal for a show on MTV2, then during a buisness meeting I talk about how awesome my show for spike tv is, and how im gonna but this MTV2 show on the backburner....I dont think I will be returning to MTV2 with arms wide open anymore.

If you respond to my post as "Blah blah blah thats over my head" like you have done in the past, it just further proves my point.

Elliot sometimes may seem a little harsh, but he is right 90% of the time, because he cares about this community, much like myself he has been apart of it much longer than you have. All he cares is that the groups involved get what they were told they were going to recive. Is that so much to ask?

Oh man, finally the UFC will get the respect it deserves! Not only does it have it's own TV show and countless PPVs it will have an Academy Award winning Documentary. I'm glad you're doing so much for the UFC scene and reporting back to Homegrown about how great you are. It makes everyone on here feel awesome to know that all of the other projects you're working on are doing great in comparison to the half-ass job you did on the HG project. Bravo Moody Bravo! don't worry, everything is moving forward. I'm still collecting footage for the homegrown collection dvd series # 2 & 3 and I want to have all the footage in the next 2 weeks if possible from all the groups that want to be involved. this same footage submitted is also going to be used to produce the pilot show that I am pitching through my entertainment lawyers to a few different cable networks. I also currently have my editors working on a DVD 2 DVD series for The Trailer Park Mafia and producing solo Luke Hadley productions but I'm not sure yet how many DVDs it can create yet.

so everything is moving forward still with the homegrown collection. I've been waiting on deals to be signed and negotiating for better contracts for awhile now, it involves lawyers, the distributors lawyers, etc... it takes time but it will all be done soon and in the stores but I've already been told that I need to change the DVD box art for it to sell in stores because it's too graphic.




lol at you... everybody wanted to know why I was off the board for so long and not here answering questions about producing the next homegrown collection dvds. all I did was say how confident I am in the production and yes, this documentary has the potential to win so many awards and go all the way I feel. doubt me if you want.

It's not cheap to rent a theater, but I've had a few short films hit theaters and I got them played for a fairly decent price. Also depends weither your playing the film in digital or 35mm. Big theater chains won't get you any money.. promoting the shows in individual theaters is where the money is.

Start small, that's my suggestion. Using a "mom and pop" type of movie theater will attract more people becuase it's more "majestic" feeling. Plus, the theater itself will help you promote the movie 90% of the time.

So choose an indepentent theater and go digital man.

Dont think he really has a choice. Cant see Moody getting his shitty DV cam footage transferred to 35mm in a hurry then playing at the nearest megaplex.

I need footage in the next couple of weeks so lets hurry. also your footage will be used in the tv show that I'm pitching out to the cable channels. so far things are looking good but it will take time, several months.

If you actually do something with the first one, people will be alot more willing to donate for the second.....

Also, if you either come clean with some truths that alot of us would like to hear about, Good or bad, the groups involved deserve to know what is up with the footage they already submitted, information you promised you would provide and have yet to do so.

the group breakdown is not a huge deal for people to worry about. until money is paid out why does it matter so much to people? money will be paid out in about a month so just be patient people. I'm out here trying to do business and a lot of you seemed consume with thoughts of greed, lack of trust and over powered mentally by money. you guys need to calm down and put your feet back on the earth.

I think that if you were to actually show anyone any information about who's getting what and when they would be far more apt to submit more footage to the new one you're making for the TV show and World-wide Theater release with all of the Jackass cast and the original CKY crew sitting in the front rows with masks of all of the stars of the new HG DVD on their faces. Maybe showing a little of something to the people would give you some credibility and make them more willing to do something with you. But as it is, you only make us seem like cocks for wanting some fucking information before diving head first in the shallow end.

Moody, you better get your UFC documentary out soon. Someone else already has a UFC style doc in the next Sundance festival and word is it's being courted for worldwide distribution (including theatres).

It's called "The One Shot", and is being directed by Debbie Sugiyama. Two of the fighters being profiled in the film will be on the Strike Force show this weekend (June 9th).

Did a bit of looking around on that forum after seeing what others had to say about their dealings with moody in the thread Mr. Safety posted a link to and found this: http://www.socaluncensored.com/board/showthread.php3?t=6414 which is basically an example of Moody trying to do the exact same thing he's done here at the HGF with the HGC, only with wrestling footage. That same thing being requesting footage from members of a forum to make a poorly edited compilation DVD by promising them a cut of the profits later on, when in reality what little revenue comes from such a shoddy production will go straight into his own pocket.

I've been telling you guys, Moody's been shittin all over people for a long time, I know quite a few backyard wrestlers who are still pissed at him.
I even spoke with an artist he worked with who got fucked over.
