Here's an update for everything Homegrown Collection related.

The TV commercial deal is moving forward and I'll have more details next week. They love it and want to run it on a nationwide marketing campaign via commercials mainly on the Mens Network (I didn't know there was such a channel) and other big cable channels like Spike, USA, etc... As soon as I know details, it will be posted here.

If all the groups that want to be in The Homegrown Collection 2 DVD, you need to get the footage sent out to me in 2 weeks. This is urgent so move fast. Once you get the first shipment of footage sent out and we import and start editing, you can send out more footage... so there's no problems about not having enough time.

If you sumbit footage you'll recieve revenue from the DVDs, mobile phone videos, PPV, ALL revenue from licensing the footage to tv shows, free DVDs and more. I will soon have a network of video websites online and the groups that submit footage and are involved in the DVDs will recieve "featured profiles" on the websites similar to how myspace promotes filmmakers and musicians. The perks and bonuses will be a nice addition to the revenue your footage earns.

ALSO, after finishing the deal selling the Muppets footage which sold for $2,000, one of my entertainment lawyers told me that I should create and produce a show with footage just like in The Homegrown Collection. He explained to me that with all the movies coming out like jackass 2 and some others, it's a good show idea to pitch.

So pretty much, I've already created a unique format for the show that seperates it from anything seen before of this genre.... Pretty much every episode will be a tourist trip around the world to watch footage from select groups involved in the show. I don't know what the age cut off for this show will be for participants but it might be at least 18. We'll see.... Please keep in mind that this TV show pitch is real and will be pitched but there is no garuantee that this will develope into anything but it is very possible.

I'll be pitching out at least 6 shows in June/July to networks and cable channels, some shows are just ideas on paper, some other shows have pilots completed are almost completed. This Homegrown TV show is just one of those 6 shows. Groups will be making money off of the show as well, similar to how Muppets made money but if the show gets signed, we would likely sign groups to exclusive contracts, not sure how it will work yet. First we need to be concerned about the show getting a deal.

Now I also purchased some domain names such as HomegrownCollection.com and iHomegrown.com and I have unique ideas for these websites that I would like to have developed. It all seems very rushed. If there was a 'Homegrown TV Show' wouldn't that require a constant flow of footage?

Nothing here is rushed I feel and besides, everything in the entertainment business is rushed somehow due to deadlines. There's plenty of footage amongst everybody here that it can be sent out and edited, nothing would be rushed in that manner and I won't let the DVd be completed until I'm 100% happy with it.

The TV Show idea would get picked up and there would be a minimum of at least 4-6 months to get production organized and finished. The show would get picked up but wouldn't be on TV for probably about 8-12 months, depends.

I wouldn't be doing all of this if it wasn't possible for me to do.

I will be sending some new Arse Marks footage to you soon Moody. I still want to know if we can see money sooner than June 31st. Thats to far away. Some of my crew aren't as enthusiastic about it becuase they were promised money and it's been almost a year and nothing has been seen. Anyway to get some in May Moody. nope never saw it. link me to an episode of it. I strongly doubt that it's similar to my idea for the show. it's a unique format and style.



If a distribution deal is signed in May, money will be paid out in May. Financially I need to be careful right now and not pay out much money for the next 2 weeks because I have to deal with insurance, getting a new car, etc... everything will be handled soon and paying now is pointless until june or I sign a deal.




ihomegrown.com is an idea I have structed in my mind, a video website a little bit different than other. pretty much groups post videos of stunts, pranks, whatever and they write up a paragraph or however much they want, explaining the stunt, what happened, why they did it, the result of the stunt, etc...

so it's like a video/article website just about stunts, prank, crazy footage, etc...

I bought 600 domain names recently for a new business I'm starting up that will have a lot of cool video websites, but this website idea is totally different with the write up article and some other features.

I'll cover the bandwith and server, its up to you guys though if you want to have this kind of website.

I'm talking about money from the Homegrown COlelction 1 DVD. Can you send any to Arse Marks. I mean, I helped with publicity all over the net, ran the Myspace page, on and on. Is there anyway you could hook Arse Marks up with an early check? I don't care how much it is even

looks good, but my concept is different. also, this looks like a show that features different groups every show. the show concept I have would have several groups exclusive for the show, between 10 -20 groups, and each show features some footage from a few of those groups every week.
