My DVD is about people and experiences. Moody's DVD is limited to actions.

Unless youre telling me Moody's DVD is 90 minutes about your life and shit that you went through, then it's apples and oranges.

Lemme give you an example.

Bumfights was about Bling Bling, Rufus and Donnie with a bunch of other shit mixed in. These people were on screen long enough to develop a character. Long enough to actually learn their names.

CKY, about Bam, Raab, Brandon, and all the others. They all have their own unique personality. Everyone has their own favorite character. It was these characters that made the DVD what it is today.

Beatdowns - Just 20+ different fights in a 60 minute DVD. Gets old after the first 10 minutes. It's about people's actions, them fighting. Thats it. SHIT DVD.

exactly dude. I honestly wish Indecline had more character development cause Im really interested in those guys lives, especially from what you told me bout them how they edited their dvd on some random stolen comp and sold videos out of their backpack and shit. It wouldve been insanely better.

This is how I look at shit. I dont care so much about the action, but I care about who does it. Some people are just douche bags on screen, and I dont care to watch them. But other people are hilarious or fun to watch. Like Rufus or bling bling. I enjoy watching them and listening to Bling Blings abduction stories and shit. If that was Jess Goros from SCP telling us bout being abducted, Id go wtf and turn it off.

yeah if they included real life footage like living in the show houses and when someone came to look around to buy the place they all hid in the attic with all there shit. that would of been cool but the indecline films wasnt really about them as much as they wanted to show what they had filmed...they was mainly behind the camera and not infront of it, for infront of it they had bling & all the other weirdos as characters

if your dvd has character development aswell as lots of street footage then im more hyped to see it

I'd love to do this. The only real thing that would hold me back is that I'll be at Uni for 4 years doing Digital Arts (which involves a lot of video production too) in September. The first year will be bollocks cause I know most of the basic stuff already, so I could use some of my student loan and get a flight over for a month or two. I would come over in the summer, but I'm going on a bicycle ride to France - for the experience.

I'm sure if this went ahead some awesome footage will come of it. 10 people, all with similar dedication to get great video, that has to be good. The group will have their own talents they could bring to the DVD whether it be photography, web design, editing, knowledge and access to cameras etc which would help in the production.

yeah I have all the bumfights DVDs and the things I wanted more was extras... I love this shit. I wanted to know more about how it was made and what happened after.

I guess its what BAM did right because he knew this and he knew if he made shit about his family with what happened in Jackass with him kicking his dads ass people would watch it. because even though his dad had a small part in the Jackass things it was what people wanted to know more about.

I see what you are talking about and I agree. But it looks like you and Webby are all that see it.

Dude I wish I was 18 I would be down there so quick. I'll be 17 in feb. I would get my g.e.d. and move down there but I really want to finish High school first.

I live for filming, but I wouldn't toss away College and Uni for it. Why?

BECAUSE I DO IT AT COLLEGE AND UNI ANYWAY. heh.

I'm the best guy in my class for video stuff. Me and my mates there make videos all the time. We're going to make a little DVD of our skits and shit...

You guys watch me, I'll be famous.

well im actually going to CA for 4 months next year (off travelling with my girlfriend after I bin travelling with MADE) she's studying in canada and when she done with that she gets a 5 month break in which we will be doing said travelling. I know none of you have seen any footage of me but I'm a good guy - ask MADE. I would be up for anything and im pretty sure I could get the girlfriend to do some shit too. haha anyway, dont be surprised if you see me around, even if im not invited. biggrin.gif

Dirty Sanchez is a clear example of this characterisation why they have all the interviews and so fourth, more about 4 mates livein there lives hurting each other than the actual stunts themselves. Great idea weak really hope you can pull it off

I'm going nowhere in life, and I'd do anything to get out of this shithole town; sounds great to me. I could basically fit everything in my life that's important to me in the trunk of my car, and I finish school in May.

Life in a big city has always interested me, as there are so many aspects of them to experience that there are simply not around here. There is basically nothing at all to do or tape at all around here (no homeless people, crackheads, prostitutes, crime, fights (unless we're the ones to instigate them), ect) Basically all that's around here are rednecks, senior citizens, and churches.

For these reasons, I am very intrigued by your vision. I don't know if it would work out, or if you'd want me in on this, but I can see great potential in what a group of like-minded individuals in a city with as many possiblities as LA could accomplish.

I'd love to study film(or similar) in Calirfornia...

But I wouldnt go untill 07-08 soo... in like 1½-2years... And I cant plan that far ahead....

2006
Release of Rip/Off the movie in February...
lots of filming in spring&summer(with rip/off, vode and webby)
prob. Pilot school in September

2007
some othe film projects will get ready... Jan-April
USA Roadtrip in the summer (filming a sequel)June-August
Editing, Producing and distributing the movie(roadtrip movie)August-December

this is how long ahead ive planned... cant plan any further...

I am actually keen on this idea, with people from all over the globe, all with different talents/skills, we could make a pretty damn awesome dvd.
Some editers, some cameramen, some stuntmen/destructioners, pornostars etc, it would be rad

If I lived in the states I'd definately be up for it, unfortunately I don't and I can't risk doing so at this moment in time. I hope to go the states after I've graduated from Uni, in several years for work. Time will fly, and maybe eventually we can meetup and film your second DVD. I'd like to eventually take a couple of years off for it.

But regardless, I don't know what will happen in the future, so I can't promise anything yet.
