Ok tomorrow I break up with my girlfriend as tomorrow is our 1 year anniversairy (coincidentally). I love her so much but she wanted to end things because she wants me as a best friend rather than a boyfriend (and thats genuine).

I just feel really shit right now and I would like to think that if I have any friends here you could make me feel a bit better because I can't think about anything else..

Btw we both agreed to just break up tomorrow, just so it all counts..

anyways, sorry to hear tht man been with my gf now for about 15 months, ahhhhh....we have had our ups and downs, been pretty much split up a few times. And I felt kinda low when I thought I lost her, but realized we are young and she wont be the girl im with forever so it will have too come too an end at some point. Think of it that way, htere will be more girls and more sex so its all good.

Theres no way you can remain just friends with someone youre in love with, and not expect to get seriously hurt. The fact that youre hurt now is a sign that it's gonna hurt you a fuck load more when everything sinks in.

You either to need to break it off for good, or do what you can to continue going out. If you don't break it off for good, you'll just end up torturing yourself with your thoughts, and the day you see her with another guy is really gonna do you in. You owe it to yourself to not go through that shit.

If she rejects you upon your request to continue dating, that's gonna hurt pretty bad also. But this way you'll have some resolution to the matter, and then you can begin the process of getting over it.
