the only way it will work, is for someone who has the entire knowledge of all videos and stunts that came out this year, someone who is well versed in all aspects but at the same time not bias towards anyone or any group. so if you can find someone like that it will rock

sorry about the double post.........not really, but another idea I just had was if we can't find someone who wants to do all this themself

we could make the categories, than each person can enter each category, like let's say best stunt, that person would put together 1 clip from this year of 1 stunt and post it.

groups who have improved greately could even take a video from the beginning of the year and link it to a newer video??

That sounds good.
This way people who havnt really seen much of a group can easily find out, then vote for who they think are the best.

We need some way people can vote for the person/group they want to be awarded, a thread for each award might be too much.
I say we use these categories:
Best Group Award
Best Newcomer Award
Most Improved Award
Best Style Award
Best Stunt Award
Best Stuntman Award
Member of the Year Award
Most Variety Award (This is one for the groups who do it all, pain, self inflicted, gross, skate/ride etc)
Best Sportsman/Sports Group Award (Skating, BMX, Inline etc)
Best Skit Award
Best Prank Award
I think there should be runners up for the awards, 3 runners up, one recieves the award.

Theres the main ones I think we should use, maybe not all of them. We need a better category for maybe the people who do stunts, graffiti, vandalism all in one, if you know what I mean.

We should make a thread, where people can post what award they want to enter themselves or their group in. They describe what they are entering themselves in, describe the stunt/whatever, and post the video. The topic should only be for videos, this one for discussion. So people can easily watch each video.
Then we need some way of voting, or whatever method we use to determine the winners.

It'd be sweet if we could have a section.. just like they did with the hunt 3... and all of the categories are Pinned Threads where only people can vote... and any other thread people can discuss whats going down who they voted for who they should think should win.

With sub sections as Chat * Nominations * Polls

And then post threads for each award...

We should have 2-4weeks to nominate people for Awards(attach videos and pics to the posts)

the idea of entering yourself sucks. I wont enter myself. I have an ego but not that much of one. If others don't find you worthy enough to nominate or vote for you then you shouldnt be nominating yourself anyway

yeah...I dont think you should be able to enter yourself...whoever made the judge idea is right...have everyone post a vid and have the judges vote on nominees...then when they've picked the 4 up for each category open it up to the forum to vote on the winners.

Thats like what I meant at first, but It just seemed it would be more affective, if everyone got to see the groups/persons best video, in case they havnt already.

But I see what you guys mean, if you want to, post your best video, like I prolly will, as I dont think everyone has seen our videos, well ive only released 2videos on here, but anyway yeah if you wish too, you can post your best video?
But your not "nominating" yourself, we'll vote on the nominies, and then vote for the award winner, runners up get 2nd, 3rd and 4th, or just 3.
