Apparently from (tomorrow?) Chicago are banning smoking from bars and restaurants. The whole fucking world seems to be adopting this policy now. Great if you don't smoke...shit if you do. What do you guys reckon??

I dont smoke, but then again Im not even old enough to go to bar, so dont matter much to me eitherway. As for restaurants...Id say almost every single restaurant in LA already has a no smoking policy, especially indoors.

I knew I live in Spain for something. Cheap cigarretes, loads of smoking areas and cheap alcohol. Ahhhh.

sucks, people are gonna stop going to pubs if they cant smoke. And there stopping it because of people rights and shit aint they? although im probably wrong. like non smokers dont want their lungs filled with smoke... well if thats the case by doing that they are taking away right from smokers, either way its not fair. The only thing I hate about smoking is when poeple smoke near me when im eating.... all you can tastew is the fucking smoke so I think smoking should be banned in resteraunts full stop. having a smoking area in a resteraunt is like having a pissing area in a swimming pool... you still get affected.

"Bars and Resturants"

Not streets.

It may be YOUR lungs
But if you're a non-smoker in a bar or resturant
and someone is smoking by you
you get the second hand smoke.

It's YOUR lungs, but at the same time it's OTHERS lungs.

Yeah, lets ban PEOPLE from the streets as they breathe our air!!111

Everything in life is bad for you, if you enjoy life then guaranteed you're doing something not beneficial to your healh. Smoking may be a problem, but passive smoking isn't as big a problem as it's made out to be.
