I was messing around earlier with the VX and if you slow the shutter speed down to 30 it gives your footage a slightly cinematic look.

don't unless it's dark out man. Raise that shit up higher so it looks more like real life, then adjust the gain until it looks like what you're actually looking at.

It really depends on the surroundings. If im outside on a sunny day I crank it up to whatever looks good at least 250+. If it's dark and I've got little light, 60 is perfect with a little gain.
