How do I know what Harddrive to buy? Is there anything I need to take into account before I do?

Make sure you get the hardest drive you can, go to your computer store so you can test them out yourself (this is the only benefit from not buying from the web). Take the drive out of the box (maybe without them knowing cause they may not realize your simply testing it) then drop it on the ground.

If it bounces more than twice it's too soft and will break soon, no bouncing at all is suggested by also very pricey.
