the hardware swap went extremely well. Just moved one of the HDDs, and the new PC booted up like a charm. No driver issues, nothing. I just had to re-create the raid to the new disk.

the last time (4 years ago, when chavez left the country for 3 days, and we have a new president for 2)

milliones of people went to miraflores (like the white house) to make chavez leave, they were waited by this "urban guerrillas" and army and it was a massacre, the police were defending the oposition and shooting against army and guerrilleros.. it was horrible.

like 2 years ago, cant remember now why, the oposition blocked the principal streets and access to important buildings, with fire barricades. we couldnt go out for one week, because everything was closed, the gov police came to the more "fucked" zones with all kind of high power weapons and start shooting at habitated buildings and civilians that started the protest.

but everybody is talking that this time its going to be worse.. much worse.

What was the deal though? They were giving out free computers or what, I'm lost

Sounds like you had a really shitty day then. If there's one thing I hate, it's crowded department stores where you're constantly being hit by random elbows.

In other news I have a nasty wound on my right hand from yesterday.. Would've probably have needed a pair of stitches for it, but I guess it's a little late now. The story behind it was that I slipped on some beer that I had spilt myself a couple of hours earlier and I landed hands first on the broken glass. There was a lot of blood. I was really drunk

well, what really pissed me off was, they told me that was the deal computer, and it wasn't. Isn't that false advertising? They said at the register "we sold out of those in the first 5 min", well guess what, check the security cameras, I was in the store within the first 5 seconds. fuck Best Buy, unless they hook me up tomarrow when I call em.
