YES! YOU'RE GETTING SO MUCH CLOSER TO ME.
I call meeting ben first, he is in my country.
28 September 2009, 18:11 UTC#45,338
And yet further away from you than I am. Must be shitty living in a massive lifeless country with days of traveling between villages.
28 September 2009, 18:14 UTC#45,339
Especially considering the only transportation they have is horses.
28 September 2009, 18:19 UTC#45,340
I love horses and horses love me. That's why I chose Canada and why Canada chose me.
Yours truly,
Ben Hands
28 September 2009, 18:23 UTC#45,341
Ben, I'm sorry to tell you this, but the Mounted Police will never allow you to work for them. They frown upon relationships between horse and rider.
28 September 2009, 18:26 UTC#45,342
They don't know love!

Chicago Blackhawks star forward Patrick Kane is eager to move on from the summer altercation with a cab driver that led to his arrest.
The 20-year-old and his cousin pleaded guilty last month to a non-criminal charge of disorderly conduct and were given conditional discharges. They will avoid any penalties if they stay out of trouble for a year and write apologies to the cab driver who alleged the Kanes roughed him up in a dispute over 20 cents.
"There's a lot that people don't know," Kane said Thursday during the Vancouver Olympics media summit. "I'm looking forward to moving forward and getting past it."
Kane is one of the NHL's brightest young stars and has helped rejuvenate hockey in Chicago. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 draft, he was rookie of the year in 2007-08 and last year helped lead the Blackhawks to the Western Conference final. He scored a hat trick in the clinching second-round victory over Vancouver.
Baby-faced and personable, his arrest was a shock in Chicago and in his hometown of Buffalo, where it occurred.
Cab driver Jan Radecki told police Kane and his cousin attacked him Aug. 9 when Radecki said he didn't have 20 cents in change for their fare. Later reports indicated the dispute started after Radecki, following the practice of some other drivers in college neighbourhoods, locked the cab doors until collecting the fare to ensure his passengers did not leave without paying.
Radecki had bruises and broken glasses.
20 cents haha

Haha yup, there are Kane cab company t-shirts for sale somewhere on the web
28 September 2009, 19:48 UTC#45,347
Ah balls. I was hoping you would end up at Tulsa, OK. We could have went to the local Bass Pro Shop and bought deer hunting gear together.
28 September 2009, 19:51 UTC#45,348
Haha yeah. That was my first choice up until my school informed me that Tulsa only takes exchange students from our school for fall semester. But I'll promise I'll rent a bike when I'm on your side of the pond and do some biking around.
28 September 2009, 19:54 UTC#45,349
Fuck that, were gonna play lazer tag.

Just wait for the day when you hear the distant sound of a playing card flapping against the spokes of a bike slowly getting louder. That's when you'll know.

29 September 2009, 06:39 UTC#45,357
For a pilot it isn't bad at all, Family guy was wack and even simpsons took a few seasons to get amazing.
29 September 2009, 10:24 UTC#45,358
I thought it was bullshit. The one joke I liked was the bird at the end going "that's what I was telling you before!". Cleveland is the most boring character in the entire Family Guy show and they just couldn't make it work with him in the spotlight.
I think the bit that summed it up for me was when Cleveland starts ranting about how everyone pays attention to Peter and his wacky adventures but no one ever notices him. FOR A FUCKING REASON. He's supposed to be a secondary background character with no strong personality of his own.
And fucking hell, they couldn't even change the formula of the show for fuck's sake. Overweight father, hot mother, fat stupid son, abusive baby, teenage daughter. I remember thinking to myself, "hey, at least there's no talking animal this time around OH NO WAIT."
I watched the Cleveland Show expecting it to be crap but somehow I was still disappointed. Maybe I'll keep watching it just to see how it pans out but I can't see much of a future for this blatant cash cow.
