so my xbox 360 got 2 red lights yesterday and kept crashing after playing fallout3, so I turned it off and let it cool down, today it has the 3 red ring of death. :-(

I already had it sent back to be fixed before the year warranty ran out, it got fixed and worked fine for about 8 months since the repair. my question is to anyone who knows is its been fixed under ayear ago is it still coverd by mircosoft? I really dont have the money to buy a new one right now.

As far as I know, if it redrings you can send it back regardless of the condition of the warranty.

Microsoft are trying to be as helpful as possible with what they know is a serious problem with their machine. Try calling up a customer service number to make sure, but it should be fixed without question.

from what I have read, they fix it no matter how many times it ROD's, but it's suppose to be permanently fixed the first time -_- yeah right.

I think they extended the warranty to three years? So you got to prove the first one u got isn't more than 3 years old.

I sent mine away to be fixed for the rrods, and they sent it back with a letter saying they didnt fix it, and had a list of bullshit and yeah that was about 8 months ago.
