I'm fucked. I gave blood yesterday, the nurse was like "Definitely do not go out drinking, you've lost nearly a pint of blood and will almost definitely faint due to dehydration" I was on JD all night and was totally fine. What a load of bullshit.

I've never gave blood, but back in my plasma selling days they always warned not to drink after giving. One nurse told me once it's just because your alcohol tolerance will be much lower.
