Fuck Portfest. It's way shittier than Hometown Days, and I can't even begin to describe how fucking shitty Hometown Days is. Sure, Portfest gets actual bands that people have heard of to come play, but they're always SHIT. Last year sucked so bad, we just sat around at one of the picnic tables all fucking night.

so me and my mexican co-workers went to burger king today to eat lunch. there were 3 of us sitting at a booth, and a teenage boy came over and decided to share the word of jesus christ with us, since he had just gotten out of church. I played stupid and acted like I knew nothing about christianity. he then asked us why we were working on a sunday. he explained to us that god reserved the seventh day as a day for rest, because when god created earth, he worked 6 days, then rested for the 7th. then I interrupted him there and said "if god can only work 6 days of the week, and I can work 7, that makes me better than god, right?"

his eyes got wide, then he stuttered a few times, then got up and sat back down with his family. I got death stares from his parents for the rest of my meal. my mexicans speak little english, so they didnt see the humor.
