I honeslty have no opinion on this Piracy issue. All I know is that Im not worried about the law, so im willing to allow piracy on HGF.

The best thing to do would make a thread specifically for Piracy, title it something clever, and post requests in there. Instead of people giving direct links, they can PM you the information. Does that work for everyone?

I know my fair share on piracy asmy job revolves around it, and I'm not looking to be a mod. It would be very unlikely anything would happen to Sean or the board as the illegal files would only be links, not files hosted directly on the same server as the forums.
If anything, a company may take action if they can proove they've lost earnings due to people posting links to files. Take Adobe for example; if they could show that a large number of people have illegally aqquired Premiere or Photoshop via the board, it could be shut down and Sean could be sued for loss of earnings. This is really unlikely as this site would have to be really popular, but a google search for a premiere torrent would show this board as to having the link.

I think whoever posted the idea of having a request thread, then people are PM'ed the link is good. However, only PM trusted members.
