I'm not going to say R.I.P, no way.

George fucking drank himself to death, he was given a new liver, and said "I'll carry on drinking" openly. Additionally, he gor that liver for free, and couldn't be assed to pay for it. I hope he rots in hell, I seriously do.

Then you get people like my dad who died, despite being a really nice guy, drank heavily only on occasions, caring and never publicised his problems, then dies of a brain tumour.

Fuck George, he deserved to die.

yeah I found he was dead this morning, its was when I walked past the butchers, it said "best liver for sale" so I figured

He was given a second chance though. I empathise with his family as do I when any loved one dies, but I do think..putting his family and friends out of the equation, the he deserved his death, fucking up your second chance at life instead of trying to quit drinking is inexcusable, especially when that organ could have been put to better use. It wouldn't be half as bad if he had payed for it, still bad..but not as bad. He was a fuck up.

yeah true, if your an alcoholic it would be hard to give up drinking but im sure that if you had a new liver and you knew it was you last chance you would force yourself to stop no matter how hard it was, he was a fool to carry on drinking.

To be honest though he's a stupid fuck for doing what he did. I can understand the adiction, but then going back to it after nearly dying and having a vital transplant causing him to go back to the same way, I have no sympathy, there were other people that needed that liver for unselfinflicted reasons and he abused his fortune of getting one, sorrry if there have been posts like this already but I couldn't be bothered to read the whole thread

sorry gaz but everyone who says football fucking sucks, obviously has no idea how to play football or the skill behind it to score a brilliant goal. if you don't like it for a specific reason, then explain. if you don't like it that's fair enough but no need do diss it as am sure there is things that many others and yourself like that other people don't particularly enjoy.

im not really sure who he is , but he used to live well near me, near liphook way, and my dads had a drink with him a couple of times before...

Yeah he lives like 15 minuits away. My grandad grew up with him as a little boy in Belfast. I never mewt him though, but he used to live oppisite to him. Ive seen some photos of him.

Last few years of his life he lived in Liphook. Which is in Hampshire.

I don't like it because they fall about like women as soon as a player is within touching distance.

They abuse the referee and show complete lack of discipline and respect during matches.

They are overpaid and over advertised.

The fans are hooligans.

you obviously have no idea about football, there is more than 1 league and you clearly can't appreciate when someone like george best is a footballing genius. it's not just about kicking a ball around a pitch in the pissing rain and charvs you know. it's a way of life to some people, just like hg is to everyone around here. they probably think the same about homegrown.

your right man. I used to love football... I lived it for about 5-6 years of my life. And me not liking it so much now is not about the game really its just other things took over and I started to get pissed at all the foriners playing in the leage.

yeah you can say "Wow men kicking a ball and trying to get it in the net" yeah I guess that will work.... But if you support something and you follow it then its more then that too you. You can say it about any sport...

And yeah most people here lie HG stuff... but you can flame that... and if someone here died you would care but if someone else flamed them and not respect it you would disagree.... but they could just say "He killed himself doing stupid stunts and pranks... he made a fool of himself... and for what? dude football is stupid as hell, just cause I don't appreciate it dosn't mean I don't know about all the work that goes into it. I think football is over rated and stupid. george best dying to me is like some amazing carpenter dying, yeah he might of been good but I don't care, I have tried carpentering it's hard as fuck, it dosn't make me appreciate how hard it is, it makes me think that who ever does it is a fucking dumbass.

same with football, it's based around players just being ordered around, they don't have to do anything but take orders, thats there job. people who just take orders don't impress me.

But the order part is wrong. You try to order people for 90mins... hard man. And when things go wrong you gota have new plans and then get the players to do it.

Most the time it will not worl (Only had to watch England in there last 5 matches) .

But if its not your cut-of-tea then yeah thats cool... I dont like golf much... but I know theres tons of skill in it. I just find it kinda boring to watch... But I bet if I watched it alot and learnt about it id prob like it after awhile.

I used to play football for my school... And I swear it is a great game to play and learn. thatswhy its #1 sport in the world.

oh shit, your talking about soccer, lol yeah I have beef with that as well but my arguement has nothing to do with soccer, im talking about american football, but most of that did apply to the proffesional sporting league, but soccer players think on there feet fast as fuck, I can't and would never want to play soccer. but is george best a player or coach? but soccer players are insane on the field. the only sport I enjoy watching live.

Best was a player from the 70s and 80s. He was really the FIRST big name to come from it. He wasted his cash on drink which killed him.

yeah... people from US always think Football is US football... when "Soccer" is true to the word... we use our "FEET" grrr... I wish tehy could think of a betetr name for it over in the USA.

Rugby is a far better sport, more entertaining, more challenging, more exciting and less commercial. PLus our country's good at it.
