HG Collection DVD

its not out yet. its not even finished. why hand out flyers for somthing thats not even put together yet?

I think that as far as production goes... from where I, we stand it has been on quite a basic level for something which he has been making out will be far greater.

YET, I personally think this dvd will be a good success, in the respect that it will have some awesome sunts; pranks and other shit no-one has seen before; will be generally a great plug into groups maybe not many people have seen much of; and I am quite confident in moody as far as editing and general stuff goes.... but time will tell.

I am looking forward to it nevertheless.

Webby hit it right on the head. When the DVD is ready to be released, flyers will be printed. Still waiting to hear a price quote from Buckwild through his friends connection.

If I did anything differently the next time I produce a HG DVD, if there is a next time, I would probably have a vote with the involved groups on who should edit it, an editor within the HG scene. That's really the only thing I would do differently I feel.

How long do you think till this comes out?

I think that not many of the groups on here know how to market anything outside of hg, I could be wrong but let me give you some examples, the other day for the first time ever tpm used light tubes for a stunt, there was about 40 people at this party, alot of them big fans of jackass and steveo and what not, and they all tripped the fuck out, no one, not even one person had seen that before

so we got a bunch of groups in hg doing stunts and shit that is original to please other hg groups, why?? cause you guys care more about what other groups and people on this stupid fucking forum think than your own fans........just my opinion. so don't everyone jump my balls.

and if you had read past posts you would realize that me and moody are already on the works of getting flyers and posters taken care of, I will be sending them out myself to all the people in hg that wanna help promote this dvd, I also got a huge show coming up on new years and I'm gonna plug moodys site to a couple thousand or so people, if I do that at every show, it will sell

if every other group did that it would sell like hotcakes


edit: and also I don't quite remember exactly what I sent in for the dvd, but I did send a shit load of our best shit, we have alot of good footage in my opinion, and by moodys reaction from it, it must have been some narly shit, so maybe some groups didn't send in their best shit, but I sent alot of our best shit up to that point.

So you're not happy with the editing so far?

I can only speculate but I have the feeling after seeing the retardz and dang's part that moody realizes what kind of editing skillz some of these cats have, I get the feeling I should have gotten extazy to edit my part, cause with the quality of stunts I sent in....... it should have easily been one of the most original stunt sections put together, in awhile

I prefer too impress people who are from here first, then all the people we know personally who view the site, then the randoms on the net who check our site out last.

I have a good answer for that, and maybe for you it doesn't make sense but for me its easy, money, I want to sell dvds, if I want to sell dvds and thats my main objective, ok wait my main objective is to have a bad ass dvd that I like, thats first, second, is to sell them to my fans. If my dvds impress people here on hgforums, what at most they might sell 100 to 500 dvds at the very most I mean be realistic, it's not alot of people, if I wanna sell dvds and have a large audience I gotta think about them first and the other groups last. In my opinion, I could rip off every stunt that has ever been done, and sell a ton of dvds, but I wouldn't cause thats just wack. but it's probably the truth

yeah if u in it for the money then fair enough. But we aint, we just prefer making a good video and having a laugh doing it. I doubt we will ever make a dvd but if we did we wouldnt try and make laods of money from it.

well thats just the difference between me and you, I think your dvd would make a ton of money if it was marketed well and could make its way to your target demographic

I'm happy with the editing but I feel that somebody with more of a passion or direct relationship with the other groups might be able to give it something that an editor outside of homegrown couldn't do. just my opinion.

yeah I got your pictures but your section is already edited. the pictures you sent me will be used for the dvd box art...

can you send out the package tomorrow? if possible go to fed ex and ask them how much it would be for a 3 delivery to me. if it's under $60 I'll pay for it just so I know we have the last bit to finish off the dvd.

I can list off names of members in each group but it would only show in the final ending credits of the dvd, which most people probably won't even watch. if you and the other groups are insistent about this it can be done but personally I don't think it's a big deal and it will add some extra editing time, not a lot, but typing in about 40-50 peoples names would be bigger than any credit list I've ever made before.
