Anyways... my mate dave studies media at uni and had to make a short clip about anything..... with the title - "Who cares".
So I gave him some despro DVD's, but unfortunately the stuff was too "illegal", so I had a talk to george (allinthehips) from
Ghost monkeys of chaos, and he lent me some legal "stunts"
Anyways heres the rough copy.... apparantly, I dunno. Youll be able to tell the despro from the gmc, (oh and that gay surfing clip is him( dave ny mate, not george)
Click@!Im getting this guy to do all the title screens and scene selection bullshit for the DVD coz he knows all this tech flash.

Same here.. I should really study some tutorials cause I had no clue how to use that program. I managed to get some really nice effects on a clip but the program itself was too hard to use for a newb so I let it be.
Now to the vid:
Ohhh, Noice and toight. Sweet editing, really nice!

I would hate to see what your idea of AE's full potential is...
I cant stand when people go overboard with masking and compositing layers, or when people try to animate their footage in keyframes...especially in homegrown videos...(no offense to that Scottish group). Just watch Bling Along and you'll know what I mean...
AE is awesome for text though, and simple things like the stuff in this video.
