I believe that in my opinion ( which I reserve the right to make) that Nintendo pales in Comparison to Gamecube and Xbox. I dont know as much about the technacalities of the consoles but in game counts, PS@ and Xbox favourably whoop Nintendos ass.

I agree that the gamecube is highly lacking in comparison to the ps2 and the xbox, but Nintendo in general is doing much better in the gaming industry than either companies, and the new controller is going to be a wierd move indeed but none of us can really form justified opinions on it untill we test it ourselves.

In my honest opinion, Xbox blows. PS2 and GCN are my pals.

As good as people make it out to be, Nintendo lost alot of support and customers when they showed that controller. I even know people who quit their forums when it happened.

Nintendo is on top man. Maby not with the gamecube but it is making more money in the gaming industry than both Sony and Microsoft. It has something called the Gameboy .

It really depends on several factors, some being "Will the novelty wear off?" and "Will 3rd party publishers take advantage of the new technology?" If the rev. is priced low and the controller is very enjoyable, and the games are top notch it might beat the other consoles but I doubt it. It does have the back catologe though.

I don't have a problem with it, but that fact turned ALOT of people off to it. One of the bigshots in Nintendo stated they wouldn't have those buttons, that it would be 100% new and inovative.

And can you tell me how this is testing it out? The thing will have motion sensors and rumble packs and shit..........

You can get a feeling of how it's held and stuff... find out how comfortable it'll be, and if it'll be weird using only one hand.

Apprently, you can use it with a joystick so it dont feel as weird.

well its going to be a diffrent weight and texture as well, IMO its the dumbest idea ever to even suggest that thats an accurete representation of how the final product will feel.

yeah depending on the game you will use the controller in a diffrent way.

I just readup loads on this controller and I think its gona be really good. The IGN review was great because they got to use it and what I think people dont get is Nintendo are not trying to conpete with MS and Sony here.

And who is it that said a controller has to be used by 2 hands? Most of the first ones used one hand (Joysticks)

I think the great thing is that older people will use this more as they know how to use cotrollers and the way it works by you moving it (Like the fishing game)

The big prob is most people are too used to the 2 hand controlers. There scared of change... and thats why its called the Revolution.

Also Nintendo make some of the best games.... Well if you like to think more then most people do. I hope Res Evils do move though... I hope they go with Sony and Nintendo this time.

If Nintendos plan works and people see the benifits in ths then you watch Sony and MS start to feel old with there old shit.
