Hah a, its just really hard to write something when you have like only 1-2 people you can count on to help.

plus, you always need a camera man, a sound guy, PLUs the people in the flick.

me n marc need to make some new/more friieeeends.

Was very well produced, nicly cut, and acting was very nice.

Only thing I think tht really let it down was the part where it skipped from before handing out hte leaflets to after all tht was done and all of a sudden it was like it was suddenly big, there could have been something else there I dunno wht, but something to make it flow better.

Also, it was hard to tell wht type of film u were aiming for, serious or comedy? As there were jokes but also alot of it seemed serious too me, but it really did have its funny parts, the handbig bit made me laugh.

So overall I did enjoy it, looked very nice and im proud of u :P

The acting in this clip was very professional. The idea and the plot was like straight from a tv show. Not saying if it's good or bad, but it was way different from all other videos presented here that are mostly pointless or just random. Quite different from your previous videos too..
But as I already said, the acting was great, the angles were very pro too. Didn't find it too funny though, but everything else worked well

I loved the commercializing religion theme
"what is their god offering that im not."
"salvation is only a few dollars away"
"we can transer your loved ones to our heaven"

Here's a little behind the scenes fact!!!

Originally, the main characters were supposed to be The Mullet and Dickaxe, but they had like religious convictions against it or like, didn't like us anymore and backed out.

We were gunna say "fuck it", but then me and marc were all like "F that shit, we'll just be in it." and that's how it came to be.

bong!

I'm thinkin' of tryin' to write a short mooovie.  I probably won't though, cuz we don't have any people to be in it/help oot.

So write it anyway.

I've written 5 and made 1. I still wrote the other 4. :-P

Also, what is the fixation on it not being funny enough? Did it need more people getting their hands smashed with hammers or pounding tacks into their foreheads? It wasn't written to be a slapstick comedy.

True. I was thinking of writing some other little shorts knowing that we only have like 4 people total. I have to keep in mind that we lost the freaking camera/audio guy half way through making this one... ugggghhhh. Amanda and Duran filled in really well though and you can't tell which ones were shot by who, for the most part.
(Well, *I* can, but other people can't, haha)

I am assuming you want to write one thats more b-I style instead of my style, since my style gets us stoned to death on these forums, haha.

Nah, wasn't thinking much about the style. I just wanna try writing something and then filming it all good like we did with that movie.

I don't give 2 fucks if we get ragged on for a flick. We make what we want.

I'll try and come up with something. Kinda sucks, cuz I didn't really want me and you to be the main characters AGAIN but I don't see how we'd get anyone else that could commit enough ttime to being a main character.

I dunno. shit'll work out. it always duz.

I have Final Cut, if you want it, also. I had a bright idea one time that I was gonna try out screenwriting, had the idea in my head and everything, but like all good things, it's dust in the wind.

Id love to see what the BeeJ comes up with, however. Writing is secksy!

Aside from that, you should post the DOC footage that you posted on the BI forums. Funny stuff.
