Selling The Faith - short film!!

Here it is -- the short film we've been working on here @ boredom-induced.

It's called Selling The Faith, and it's about 8:50.

You might hate it, or you might not, but check it out anyway and tell us what you THINK!! We spent a pretty good amount of time on it.

I liked it. Nice angles, editing, and the story was good too.

It was like watching something on that amateur film channel.

this is gonna be pretty typical coming from me...but I didnt like it. I didnt watch it all..so unless it had some awesome ending...my opinion stays the same.

oh yeah..and it was boring. thats why I didnt like it.

it wasnt bad..but it wasnt as good as I thought it would be...even the purse snatch scene was funny. but I thought it'd b better.

For the record, I wrote it, not the "boredom-induced crew" so don't hold it against them if it sucked, they were just helping me.

its not that it sucked...it just didnt appeal to me. I can see you used craft and style in your editing, acting and shit. Yeah I left that out...the acting was good. But it just came out boring to me.

Im not a fan of shorts/skits, with the exception of me6. Its make perfect sense really...just watch their skits...theyre are insanely random and spontaneous....which is sorta the opposite of your vid.

I thought it was tight, the dialogue was great, acting was good. I think it could have gone more into how they started the religion and what it was about. but I liked it. the part where u guys steal the purse is funny but the comedy seemed out of place.

Yeah it suffered a little bit because I had a time limit for a film festival we didnt even get to enter. If I hadn't had the limit I would've done 30 pages instead of 10. But then again, we barely got 10 pages shot.

That was pretty good, really liked the editing

The plot was a bit boring which put me off watching more than 1 minute. I skipped through to the bit where the girl jumps off the balcony, I liked that bit

I liked how it was produced, filmed and such, but I think it coulda been funnier.

im not gonna lie

I was kinda dissapointed, this skit had so much potential, and the script was good, but the acting killed it

this skit did have it's moments like "yes your loved ones can be transferred to our heaven for one flat fee"

but I would have worked on the diolouge more, like the "no you just "said" you paid the rent" was a funny line but was poorly played out

but like I said it was an awsome concept (I really wish I thought of it) and did have it's moments like the purse snatching and so on

K so I lied and fell asleep instead.

I liked it y0. So there wasnt jokes every second but who gives a fuck. You guys spent time writing and shooting this to make it look as good as it does. And it paid off big time. I thought it looked awesome. So pro. It goes to show how well you can present your footage if you put time and effort into it (also having and awesome cam like yours works haha) but yeah I dug that vid even if it wasnt the most hillarious thing ever I enjoyed it for different reasons.

I'm thinkin' of tryin' to write a short mooovie. I probably won't though, cuz we don't have any people to be in it/help oot.
