but what about the people who signed up in 2004 but havent come back here in like 2 years and all of a sudden there allowed in the members section? posts is better cuz if someone spams they get temp banned.... or tha admin can subtract some posts from them... so they wont spam..

There are so many spamming here anyway, but members area would be good and (hopefully) spamless. 1000 posts min would be fine but if you say now there will be a members area and you need 1000 posts to get there then everyone will be making stupid posts

but I don't know what a member's room would actually do, I don't think it would help any, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt either
try it temporarly like a month or so and if it's a hit keep it, if it is rarely used then ditch it

I think some people don't have time to make 2,000 posts a night...if you're gonna make it make it based on a members influence in the forums.

Yeah and annoying members is an issue that needs to be sorted and doesn't need to be sorted around the regular members.
