That would be an assumption.

I do know alot of people where that is the case, but I can talk on my behalf and the majority of my friends in saying its quite the opposite. I stopped getting financial help at the age of 15, I pay rent to live with my parents, and generally work my ass off to provide for myself, I probably work longer hours than anyone on this forum, and probably earn less than most people on this forum (the ones that bother working)

The difference is, my family are well off (neither were when I was born) and have made alot of money due to being intelligent and good at business. Being intelligent they also realized how damaging it can be to financially help a child who is already use to a good life and so on. Whereas alot of people who would not be classed as 'rich kids' often sponge of their parents most their life.

I work only about 30 hours a week. But, I go to school 17 hours, also. And, I get paid pretty low.

Thats pretty bad. What kind of pay?

The last 3 months Ive literally been working 18 hour days, 7 days a week. I reckon if you take out the short amount of time Ive spent eating Im doing 115 hours a week of work to get this tv show edited, and my producer has been with me most of that time aswell. But I did take 3 days off a week ago for Reading Festival, which was nice. But I did have to do a 50 hour marathon with one hour sleep just to be able to go to it. And got there a day and a half late. Thankfully this shit is over by the 15th. Then I can start paying some attention to Homegrown TV.

I get like $400 every 2 weeks. Not bad. It pays the rent and the bills. But, it's not like I'm saving or gaining. Just coming up even.

And, you definitely got my hours beat, by far. Hard work now will likely pay off in spades in the near future.
