With the interviews, it will add a few minutes of footage per group. I would like to have a lot of groups involved to make this a 2 or 3 DVD set with 2-3 hours of footage on each DVD. It's possible but a lot of groups need to be involved and each group can have 20 minutes + of content time or less if they only have so much good footage..

I got 20 mins plus an interview covered, that would be the shit if we could make it that long I'm hella down for that idea!

lol and as for the three dvd Not to steal an idea BUT! we can make this sort of like a HEADBANGERSBALL CD you put all of the show guns the top notch guys on the first dvd and the up and comers on the Second dvd THen to save time on the 2 dvds, you make a thrid one with skits and pranks from all of the teams. or maybe even a fourth dvd for a continue on skits if their are many because skits can be long.

the interviews are a good idea, kinda like a inside look documentary on homegrown, but id ask different qestions for each group or its gunna get dull

It sounds like you're making it up as you go along and dont really have a vision for this DVD.

You're saying "Oh, Id rather raw footage but If you send it edited thats ok but just send it"

Make up your mind dude.. Its either to be edited by you, or them. Its a cop out that you dont have the balls to put your foot down as a producer and say "This production needs to be consistent and have flow so I need all footage raw for my editor, It will look better that way"

Also posing the question "oh do you think this DVD would be good with QandA?" What do you think? Cant you make an educated desicion as a producer on what will work and what wont? And then you ask the groups to make their own questions up?

You're getting all the groups to find music and all the groups to basically do everything. I seriously think they are organising this thing better than you.

What kind of Producer are you were you make stuff up as you go along and obviously have no final vision for this project before you even start? You dont even know if its going to be box set or 1 DVD yet?

Im really worried that this thing is going to look as professional as what Moodys work ethic is. He's probably the most hack producer Ive ever come across and from what Ive heard about 101 reasons he doent mind putting his name on a shit, half assed production.

Make up your mind on this DVD and put your foot down. Groups will feel a lot more comfortable thinking that you have a vision for this thing and know exactly where you're going with it.

Elliot, you're strongly over reacting. Some groups insist on editing their own footage and I understand that they want to control how they are presented. Other groups want me to have the editing handled.

I've clearly stated that I rather handle all editing but if a group insists that they edit it themselves to contact me in regards to music and to discuss this.

I do have a vision for the DVD and I personally felt that the q and a idea would be a good addition so I wanted some feedback from the groups to see what they thought and they seem to all like the idea. I want the groups involved to have some feedback and to contribute ideas to the production since they will be featured in the DVD and I'm the kind of person that values other's opinions.

I have a vision for the DVD and the reason I don't know if it will be 1 DVD or a box set of 3 is because I'm not 100% sure how many groups are submitting footage.

Everything's under control and in the end this will be the best Homegrown DVD ever released. That is my vision and that is my goal and by the way, everybody is liking 101 Reasons not to be a Pro Wrestler. Half the time when you talk about me you're talking out of your ass because your mouth knows better.

Dude, its one thing having some input on ideas and another when you're letting 10 different groups steer the ship instead of taking control.

If you think this DVD is going to be a better production with you editing then tell them. Grow some balls and say you think the DVD will be a lot better if its all edited by the same person instead of putting up with second best just to get the footage.

No groups are steering the ship. I have the final say in all editing. A few groups have great editors and some groups don't and the group's asking me if they can send in their own footage are the groups with good editors from the vids I've seen, so this doesn't overly concern me.

Yes, I have a vision for this thing and no it doesn't change by the day. You might want to think it does but it really doesn't. Only way it changes is if I come up with a new idea that adds to the production like Q and A. Nothing changes, I'm just trying to brainstorm to make this as good as it possibly can be.

This DVD isn't going to be embarrasing for anybody except for you. When it is finished and done and everybody sees how good it is, you're the only person that will be embarrased for your constant escapades of attempting to endlessly talk shit about the DVD. My job is to make the groups involved in the DVD look like gold, it's as simple as that.

I've seen a lot of DVDs on the market from several groups. I believe strongly that with the groups involved that I've seen footage of and the other groups that might send footage, the concept of the DVD with showing all these different groups will make for something special. I feel that this can very well be the best homegrown dvd ever made and that's what I'm attempting to do.

I just think you've gone around it all the wrong way from day 1. Sort of sets the scene.

From what I've seen over the years I'd rather chew rusty nails than do business or produce something with you but thats my own opinion I guess.
