THE NEW HOMEGROWN DVD DISCUSSION

I kind of got side tracked the past week and haven't been in touch with all the groups that are submitting footage for the DVD and the other groups that I''d like to have involved. I've been working on my new wrestling documentary a lot recently and also starting up produciton on an MMA/Cagefighting documentary so I've been busy as you can imagine.

If any of you guys have questions, please feel free to ask me in this thread.

I want to get a lot of groups involved and several of the most respected groups will be in the DVD, so if you'd like to be featured in the DVD and show your best work, get at me at [email address redacted]

Another idea I had for the DVD was a Q & A with homegrown groups, with you guys answering how you started doing stunts and how you formed a group, why do you do this, have you ever gotten in trouble with the law, and questions like that. I feel this could add some depth to the DVD.

I prefer to handle the editing. That will work best.

I like the q & a idea as well. It will also help get over personalities of those featured in the DVD.

The goal is to have everybody drop their footage in the mail by August 20th. Thta should be enough time for everybody.

It'll work better for YOU that way, Moody. But yeah, it's already blatantly obvious that YOU is all you care about. Not the fine works done by these self-motivated groups.

Haha he has a point cuase the dvd's about the homegrown groups and thats one of a groups charecteristics is how they edit and all...but I mean im not telling you to change what you want us to do..im just stating he has a point..haha

I like the interview Idea....

yeah the interview idea was pretty cool....do we make up the q&a questions or like will you just post some things.

I think and I do think that people will agree that I should be on the front cover

it would be an idea to get new jack to shoot on hardcore groups

because lets face it...new jack does stunts more then real wrestling,

big jumps, hit with things, has fun, distorys shit

I think we should have a competition for a skit to go in the dvd. every team that enters can post there skit and we all vote who has the best skit

id like to see alot of skits. not just 1, like 1 or 2 good skits from each group would be great

If groups insist on editing their own footage that is fine with me but some other group's thought that was unproffesional on my part to let you guys edit your own footage. My main concern with you guy's editing your own footage is that you need to get the bands to sign off music that you use. You can only use bands that you're friends with or know personally because you can't use copyrighted mainstream music. The bands need to be indy bands. IF you insist on editing your own footage you need to email me at [email address redacted] so that I can get you the proper forms but I can assure you that my editors are very good.

I will have the footage edited so that you guys look hardcore. What needs to be funny will be made to look funny. I would also have the stunt footage edited to be suspenseful. Not really a bio, I would mix in some q & a from a group, show their stunts, a music video possibly, skits, pranks, all mixed together.

You guys can create your own questions but I will post some ideas later tonight or tomorrow for you.

I can get New Jack in the DVD. I'm bringing him out to Los Angeles in early September to shoot footage of him so if you guys want him in the DVD, we can do that.

I like this idea but it's up to you guys to make it happen. I think having a competition for skits would be cool and possibly a seperate competition for stunts and a seperate competition for pranks. This is just an idea but if you guys want to do this and have fun with it then that is cool with me.

wicked does anyone think that they will enter a skit for it, I think that we should have the top 3 in the dvd

definately sign up tpm!! they are the shit! anyway, if every group has an interview.......how long is this thing gonna be if you think 20 or more groups, at 5 mins a group? and I got way more than 5 mins of footage that I would consider my best shit! it took me 5 mins to piss in my mouth alone, than I started choking on my puke! than if I have to fit my groups footage in their with mine! plus an interview! I'm so down to have this pro guy edit my shit though cause our group has no editor, I know cause I am the editor and I suck! we might actually look cool in a video for once
