Also... if there is a god why the hell would he even want to contact us? And why (if you read the bible) would he make us in his image? the human image is not very god-like to me.

if it is all true then I guess were just a game of Sims to him. Maybe he forgot about us

You are assuming that 'God' is the god of classical theism as represented in the Bible - he is all-loving, all-knowing and all-powerful.

The Irenaen Theodicy also states that God created humans in his image but they are required themselves to develop into his likeness. This is why he gave us freewill.

Haha, philosophy lessons are the fun.

I love how contradictive the determinism debate is.

About God, I don't know/ever will know. But I'm down with Darwin.

You cunt I wanted to bring in Irenaen Theodicy, and be all like yeah I'm clever and what not, we did that the other day.

Taking philosophy has really opened my eyes about there being a God, everytime we do one theory it seems to make so much sense and I dunno what I believe, but it does make sense that there is a God, I'm not sure, so I'm just going to try and do as much good as I can really and stick to my guns.

The idea of God however kinda makes it seem not worthwhile, one of the problems with the idea of God being all forgiving is that eventually everyone will end up in heaven, hell doesn't make sense to me because if you go by all the teachings and sayings about God then there would be no need for a hell would there?

I think there is a logical explanation for everything, and I think that there is no Christian 'God', as there is no more a God than there is an Allah, however people would agree that Christian 'God' is more likely to exist over others because we have all been raised in a Christian society.
